Only one option on the menu (smoky beans on toast). They served it with another diners sausages on the plate, so had to remake it, as the fat from the sausages had seeped in to the beans.

What a find thanks to my Happy Cow app. I dream of coffee shops like this and we found one in Harrogate. Reminds me very much of Karma Coffee in Krakow and Relaks in Warsaw, both fully vegetarian and über cool. Hoxton North seriously has everything I could want in a coffee shop namely superb coffee, soya milk, vegan cakes, cool seating, friendly staff and minimalist decor. It's retro, it's full of class and it also serves wine! Bonus. I would so much rather go to places like this rather than the big brand coffee empires.

It's a small cafe and always busy. Worth noting stops lunch at 2pm but remains open for coffee and cake

This is such a great coffee shop. Compact but with lots of character - and delicious coffee and really yummy vegan cakes. The ginger cake was the best I've ever had, including pre-vegan days.

Delicious Vegan Cake - Edit
I came here and enjoyed the banana and walnut slice, which was delicious and non-vegan friend had a brownie, which she says was also very nice. I ordered a soya latte which was small for the price but lovely regardless. I would've liked a bit more choice of vegan cakes, but that's the only downside! Expect to pay about £5 for cake and coffee. The decor and staff were brilliant. I'll be visiting again.

Hoxton North - great coffee and awesome vegan cake - Edit
From what I know, HN is the ONLY cafe in Harrogate that serves vegan cake, but it's not the only reason I would visit here - the cake is seriously very good. There are usually at least 2 vegan options. The coffee is excellent too and a really nice vibe. Highly recommended.
