Saucy Vegan Food Truck

More delicious vegan eating in Houston thanks to Houston Sauce Co, and their vegan food truck. Specializing in amazingly good sauces that enhance tasty food, instead of masking it, Houston Sauce Co does vegan popups around the metro area, inside the loop, with locations posted on their social media sites, including facebook, instagram and twitter. Usual weekly locations include 3rd Ward on Elgin St, across from Emancipation Park, Texas Southern University, Natural Souls Hair Cottage in the Heights, Memorial Park and others. Get there early, since sellouts are common.
Must try: Boudain empanadas, tasty fusion of creole/cajun balls in a Mexican style empanada/hand pie; Cauli wings - well seasoned battered cauliflower quick fried without being greasy, loaded Philly cheese fries, Philly cheesesteak, cajun or buffalo chickn fried mushroom po'boy, frito pie, tacos, nachos... And a tasty, crunchy spicy kale salad. Not all menu items are available all the time. Daily menus posted with food truck locations on social media. Most menu items available for catering, including deliciously spicy vegan gumbo.
Opened a shoppete end of 2019, some of the same delicious food, packaged & refrigerated to go.
Partnership with newly opened Houston Sauce Pit vegan BarBQ food truck.
As of May 2021, food truck serving in The Green Zone, small food truck park conveniently located in midtown Houston, across from Peggy Park on Almeda near Wheeler. Same good food with spacious outdoor picnic table seating, WiFi.

Best flavor in town!

I’ve been a customer of HSC for years now & I cannot get enough of their delicious food. The care they put into making sure each plate is a vegan delight is what sets them out. They have an extensive menu! Their popularity in Houston is for a reason!

Pros: Tons of menu items, Vegan comfort foods, Huge portions

Cons: There can be long wait times, Pricey
