Wonderful experience - Edit
Especially after seeing so many animals suffer during our time in Asia, it was a wonderful experience to see with how much compassion and love the people at house of strays care for these animals.
Read moreThe tour was super interesting and it was amazing that your able to stay longer after to cuddle with the dogs and cats.
You have to write them a message and then they will tell you all the important information. The tour is roughly 1 hour and starts at 1pm but you can stay after till 4 pm.
Would definitely recommend going there and have a chat with these amazing people who really try to make a difference.

Wonderful shelter, great time spent with animals - Edit
We loved meeting Georgia and the team and learning about the amazing work being done at House of Strayz. This shelter is making such a difference in the lives of animals both in the shelter and in the community. They are also starting to outreach to schools to further the cause. We loved being able to spend time with the animals. Please visit: note location is secret, please message on Instagram to schedule a tour. Make a donation and make a difference.

Such an amazing place and a great organisation - Edit
The tour was so lovely, we got to meet all the animals they’re currently supporting and caring for. She told us about a lot of their journeys and how they ended up at the sanctuary. Highly highly recommend while in the area. The sanctuaries address is secret to protect all the animals and carers, so message them on insta to arrange a tour.

Reserve a tour via their social media! - Edit
Spent the afternoon at this wonderful sanctuary. Tours are afternoon only and need to be pre-booked, contact their social media. I messaged them on Instagram. They are doing great work. The tour is very in-depth and there is some time at the end to hang out with any of the dogs and cats you met. Great work HOS!!

Amazing organization! - Edit
I would highly recommend going here if you’re in Siem Reap. You can contact them through Instagram to get a free tour and they will pick you up at your accommodation. Their address is private, so you can’t come by yourself.
Read moreWhen I arrived they were immediately very friendly and explained everything. They have a very good system with the collars and you could tell they are well organized and have a good heart.❤️
They almost explained the story of every dog. They really took their time to explain the stories of the animals and their values. We donated dog- and catfood and money for the vet bills. They really appreciated it and even took me to the vet to see the dog who we are supporting.🙏 They could really use your help, because the government doesn’t fund them. They help the animals most in need and they are doing a great job. I highly recommend going here!

Me and my husband saw all the homeless animals on our honeymoon in Cambodia and googled if there is something we can do. We found House of Strays in Siem Riep and we are so glad that we did.

Wonderful place - Edit
We visited here whilst in Siem Reap. You need to contact them directly to find out the address (the one on google maps is incorrect, they did this purposely as people were abandoning animals there when the address was known to the public) and when you can visit. We went for a couple of hours: getting a tour of the place, learning about the animals and their stories and giving lots of cuddles to the animals. They have over a hundred dogs, cats and a chicken. The dogs have colour coded collars so you know which dogs you need to be more wary around/need more time/aren’t good with other dogs. They’re family funded so donations really help them. They’ve got plans to further develop the sanctuary spaces for the animals and to do more outreach work in the community. The owners are lovely and so dedicated to the animals. You can volunteer with them short term to long term. They deserve all the support that they can get

Incredibly passionate organisation - Edit
These guys have dedicated their lives trying to make a difference to animals that need help in Siem Reap. Vegan couple from the UK that we’re passing through Siem Reap whilst travelling 5 years ago and they’re still here now. With more than 100 cats, dogs and a chicken currently staying at House of Strays they need all of your support. Visit, volunteer, donate or share their story. Do anything you can to help..,

Yes they are open. They did have two locations and one is closed, maybe that’s what you’re seeing on G maps?

They’ve deliberately put the wrong address due to problems with people in the community dumping animals there. You need to contact them to get address to visit
