Affordable home-style cooking

This restaurant is known for the experience it offers: the owner and chef loves to entertain his guests with singing and a theatrical performance of the opening of the clay pot meals (sadly none of these are vegan). Nonetheless, he sang during the preparation of our meal.

There are a quite a few vegan and vegetarian offerings on the menu at half the price of many restaurants in neighbouring Goreme. The food is simple but tasty. We ordered a bulgar salad, potato salad, chips, green salad, cold bean stew, stuffed vine leaves, and a spicy tomato dip to share among four. The most affordable meal we had in the area.

✌️

There are quite a few vegan positions. Which is rare for Turkey. Of the main items, only stuffed baked eggplant, but a lot of salads and vegan snacks. And lentil soup, of course. A very expressive host, in a good way, but introverts can be uncomfortable.
If you pay by card, there will be an additional commission.

Delicious Turkish food

There are many vegan and vegetarian options. We could easily eat here differently several times. Very nice service. Everything we tried was very tasty! Also the place is very cheap.
