Brusselsestraat 59, Leuven, Belgium, 3000

Serves meat, vegan options available. Small Ethiopian restaurant with traditional Ethiopian dishes. Specialties are injera, a sour-dough pancake with spiced lentils and vegetables on top, and Ethiopian coffee. The owner is passionate about cooking vegan and everything is made-in-house fresh daily (which means there is only a limited amount available, so a reservation is required). Open Tue-Sun 6:00pm-10:00pm. Closed Mon.

A bit underwhelming - Edit

Vegetarian options standardly available on menu, and are also vegan.
We had a mixed platter (several dishes, with pancakes to scoop up the food). 40€ for 2 persons.
The food was a bit underwhelming, monotone. We expected more flavours, more variety.

Colourful interior, but a bit disorderly. Doesn't look very inviting from the outside (drapes in front of window).

Pros: vegetarian options are vegan, standardly availble , friendly service

Cons: food lacked flavours, no website - hard to find info, a bit disorderly
