Great view, vegan options available - Edit
At the time of my visit, the outdoor food stand offered three clearly labeled vegan dishes (Schnitzelbrot, Samosa, Flammkuchen). The food I had was simple and good, but a bit too expensive. The staff refused to give me a side of fries (they wanted me to order a full portion) because the side portion is apparently just for meat dishes. Weird. However, the great view makes up for the lack of customer service.

Good options, great excursion - Edit
This is a nice place for a little excursion with view of the city and lake. You may even walk up the mountain, by train and some walking it's 45 minutes from the main station. The vegan options are clearly marked but the main restaurant only opens at noon and dinnertime, so the food stand with two more options may have to do.
