Ok

I was with an Omni so I made this work because I kind of had to. The risotto is only served for a party of two? That was weird and you have to modify it to get it vegan. I had to get pasta with red sauce but don’t forget to check if it’s made with eggs. The Minestrone alla Milanese is vegan without modification, just a starter, but very good. They bring a bread basket with minced olives before the starters or meal which was nice. The waitress our first night was so nice and helpful. The second night the waiter was pretty rude, very short and clearly annoyed. Hopefully it was a one-off…everyone else there was friendly. Wait outside or go to the doorway and signal to the staff that you’d like to dine.

Pros: Friendly, Lovely atmosphere

Cons: Not many options

Delicious risotto

The servers were happy to make the mushroom risotto vegan for us, and it was delicious. Beautiful view of the lake and friendly service.

Pros: Able to make changes to menu items to be vegan, Beautiful views of lake como , Tasty bread & olive tapenade

Cons: Expensive, Minimum order of 2 on some menu items, Not many vegan options

We went to this restaurant and the server said the mushrooms are cooked in butter so the risotto couldn’t be made vegan unless we eliminated the mushrooms. The only option was pasta with pomodoro sauce.
