We had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights, and didn't want to leave!! The owners are so kind and welcoming and the hotel is fully vegan, it was so nice to see oatly in the bedrooms, and a fridge for cold water. The breakfast is as stated, fully vegan and is so generous and delicious, with so many homemade items made with love from the owners. We were so impressed! A mixture of sweet and savoury items on offer! The bed was very comfortable with soft linen, the bathrooms are to be modernised in the near future but had a decent shower. We had the pleasure of a private walking tour with the owner, which we fully recommend as we loved it! We heard so much more to Bruges than we knew and it was so nice to hear local stories. Very close to two excellent vegan restaurants as well!!

We didnt stay at the hotel (as we live nearby 😃) but made a reservation for breakfast. This place has recently changed owners, and they offer vegan breakfast, also to non-hotel guests (make reservation)
It's a small cosy - traditional style - hotel in the center of Bruges.
Choose from the buffet.
Croissants and chocoladekoeken (not often we get a chance to have those ), sliced bread and bread buns, jams, vegan yoghurt with fruit, cereals with different varieties of plant milk available, homemade carrot cake, a salad with tomatoes and avocado, vegan mozzarella and slices of cheese, fruit juice, apples and other fruit and coffee and tea.
Breakfast buffet is currently about 80% vegan, there are still two plates with charcuterie/dairy cheese) and eggs.
But they want to go fully vegan (by beginning of 2025), not only the breakfast, but also the whole hotel! Will have to visit again to try the fully vegan breakfast then!
The new owners are vegan themselves and very knowledgeable about ingredients. Very friendly too!
Breakfast buffet is in the cellar, nice room, with some sofas on the side. Very relaxed.
Not accessible: steps to get inside to reception, and then down to cellar with stairs (mind your head!). Toilet on ground floor.
We had a nice breakfast, 25€ pp.
Great to have this new addition in Bruges! Right in the tourist center, near the main market square!

Not a vegan hotel - Edit
We stayed their as they are advertised as the first boutique vegan hotel. Not sure how they can call themselves a vegan hotel when the rooms just had dairy milk and the pillows were feathers - not remotely vegan.

When taking over the hotel from the previous owners, we were still in transition, including some items like the coffee creamer. In the meantime, we now offer Oatly in the rooms and serve a 100% vegan breakfast and menu. It’s true that some decorative items like feather cushions or leather elements may still be present — a deliberate choice to avoid unnecessary waste by reusing existing materials, which aligns with our ecological values.

Niet voor herhaling vatbaar, jammer genoeg... - Edit
€25 per persoon waarvan je op de website niet terug vindt wat je zal krijgen. Ongelimiteerd buffet? Wordt het gebracht aan tafel, zo ja wat? Het bleek het laatste te zijn. Geen transparantie op voorhand dus en op het moment zelf ook niet echt. Het was lekker maar enorm duur. Koffie/thee/water (spontaan aangegeven: ongelimiteerd), een klein sapje, een klein yoghurtje met granola, een miniscuul stukje cake, en voor elke persoon een berekend pakket van een snee brood (niks speciaals aan het brood ook), een croissant en een pistolet. Dan een paar plakjes kaas, opnieuw een miniscule hoeveelheid paté en enkele kerstomaatjes. Het was mij niet duidelijk of eten bij vragen meer zou kosten. Het doet ook wat wrang weinig te krijgen en dan steeds opnieuw te vragen. €100 voor met vier personen eigenlijk niet zo veel gegeten te hebben... Het interieur is heel mooi en de bediening vriendelijk maar de transparantie zoek. Een tip voor de uitbaters: leg wat meer op tafel, dan heb je niet het gevoel dat je moet bedelen of ongemakkelijk moet antwoorden dat je nog honger hebt... Geef duidelijk aan wat er in het pakket zit. Vragen stellen is op zo'n manier ook ongemakkelijk en het kasticket achteraf verduidelijkte helaas ook niks. Hoe graag ik ook vrolijk wil zijn om nieuwe vegan plekjes in Brugge: hier is nog werk aan. Het is niet omdat het vegan is men zomaar alles moet goed vinden imo.

Voor deze prijs serveren wij een zorgvuldig samengesteld continentaal, plantaardig ontbijt met een variatie aan verschillende proevertjes. Ik geef graag ook nog even mee dat de meerderheid van de hotels in Brugge €35 vragen voor een continentaal ontbijt, zonder refills. Onze gasten krijgen altijd meer dan genoeg, maar voor wie wenst worden extra’s met plezier aangeboden. We werken volledig transparant en leggen onze formule graag duidelijk uit, iets waar u niet naar gevraagd hebt. Het is heel jammer dat zulke scherpe kritiek online wordt gedeeld, want dit moedigt jonge ondernemers die het aandurven om voor deze nichemarkt te kiezen helemaal niet aan. We hopen dan ook dat men twee keer nadenkt voordat iemand op deze manier publiekelijk wordt afgebroken. We doen dit met hart en ziel en dan heel jammer als we vragen als er van alles genoeg is, als we nog iets kunnen brengen dat jullie dan zeggen het was zeer lekker en we hadden meer dan genoeg om dit dan achteraf ergens op het internet te moeten lezen, dit kan ook op een andere manier..

Zeer aan te raden - Edit
Fijn klein hotel in het oude centrum. Uitstekende bedden, zeer hartelijk personeel. Het ontbijt in de 17e eeuws kelder is bijna helemaal vegan. Receptie geeft ook graag tips voor lunch, diner, wafels en chocolade 🥰
