A vegetarian South Indian restaurant where most of the menu is vegan. Serves rice dishes and accompaniments. (Note from HappyCow: Very little information was submitted for this listing, so if you can help make this complete, that would be very much appreciated! If you know their website, Facebook page, email address, if they accept credit cards, specific vegan dishes by name and/or their hours, would you please send us an update? Thank you!)

Very basic but delicious food - Edit
We stopped here for lunch on our first day in Chennai. The restaurant is fully vegetarian and mostly vegan, but there are a few non-vegan items. We ordered the "limited" lunch, which I think meant that we could not have top-ups on rice (though we could have top-ups on everything else). Each of us got a large plate of rice, a poddadom, sambar, and two other dishes. The food was served from containers that the waiters were carrying around the room, so it was easy to ask for more as needed. The food was served from these containers onto banana leaves. We were the only foreigners there, but the restaurant sold bottled water and had spoons available on request.
Read moreThe meal was very cheap (for three of us, we paid less than 300 rupees). Overall, it was pretty basic (i.e. nothing too special) but really delicious and a nice stop for lunch.
Pros: Cheap, All vegetarian, almost all vegan
Cons: Very basic
