Delicious vegan option(s) - Edit
To find a marked vegan option here was quite surprising for a German restaurant at such a rural location (we never would have considered visiting if it hadn't been for the Happy ow listing, so thank you, previous reviewers!). There were two vegetarian and one vegan option on the menu, plus salad and a vegetarian antipasti plate. We had the vegan mushroom and potato strudel, which was delicious, plus a big, tasty salad on the side. The vegetarian parents had the paprika and spinach lasagna, which I am told was also very tasty.
Read moreThe ambiance is rustic-chic, and they have nice outdoor seating as well if the weather is on your side. Reservations are probably recommended on weekends or holidays.
Service was super friendly as well, and seemed aware of vegan needs.
Pros: Very tasty vegan dish at a surprising location, Rustic ambiance, Friendly service team
Cons: Slightly longer waiting time (it was a holiday), Would be cool to have one more vegan option

Update vom Dezember 2025: Leider ist der Strudel auf der aktuellen Winterkarte nun nicht mehr vegan.😒Die einzige vegane Option auf der Karte war jetzt eine Linsensuppe, die etwas unterwürzt war.

Es gibt immer ein Veganes Gericht auf der Karte. Wir hatten ein Veganes 3. Gänge Menü bekommen zu einem 80. Geburtstag. Es war äußerst lecker.
