The second option is Meric, which is a fine gourmet restaurant with several vegan options. Known as one of the fanciest restaurants in town. Waitstaff understands what "vegetarian" means. Hotel De La Paix is closed, already more than 6 months. They are renovating the building and it's gonna re-open somewhere in 2013 with a different name.

Outstanding service in cafe and Meric--very happy to accommodate vegetarian diets and substitutes. Delicious!
