Read more私たちが訪れたのは、新しくオープンしたばかりの横浜グランゲート店です。ここでは、ヴィーガンのチョコレートも含め、さまざまな種類のチョコレートが販売されています。また、チョコレートバーでは、乳製品を含まないドリンクを注文することもできます。
私たちは限定の「Vegan Nutmilk 45」を試してみました。これはチョコレート・ヘーゼルナッツミルクに氷を入れただけのものだと思います。おいしかったし、環境にやさしい紙ストローも嬉しいですが、¥600と決して安くはありません。
飲み終わった後、店内に陳列されているチョコレートを見て回りましたが、残念なことにヴィーガンと書かれたものはほとんどありませんでした。値段が高かったので何も買わなかったが、品質はかなり良いと聞いています。
でも、おしゃれなヴィーガンチョコレートが選択肢にあるのは嬉しいことです。今度は高級チョコを食べたくなったら行こうと思います。
Hotel Chocolat is a fancy chocolate shop from the UK, with 27 locations all over Japan. We visited their newly-opened Yokohama Grandgate location. They sell lots of different varieties of chocolate, including some vegan ones, and you can even order dairy-free drinks at their drinking chocolate bar.
We tried the limited-edition Vegan Nutmilk 45 drink, which I think was just chocolate hazelnut milk with ice. It was delicious, and I appreciated the eco-friendly straw, but not exactly cheap at 600 yen.
After finishing my drink, I looked around the sizable selection of chocolate they have, but disappointingly, very few things were actually labeled vegan. I didn’t buy anything because it was all rather pricey, but I hear the quality is quite good.
Still, it’s nice to have a fancy option for vegan chocolates. I’ll definitely keep Hotel Chocolat in mind next time I have a craving.
