Read moreWould have been nice if they told us that on sunday their cook doesnt work and the kitchen can only make 1 sandwich and a salad and soup combo that day when I called to check the availability a gew hours before we arrived.
I overheard someone behind the bar say its ‘the first fully vegan hotel in the world’. Oh and they make special request coffees ordered by difficult customers very well!

Bij Bent hebben we een heerlijk 4 gangendiner van de chef gehad. We zijn verrast met heerlijke gerechten en interessante smaakcombinaties. De locatie is prachtig en de sfeer goed. Raad het erg aan!

We waren al vroeg op zaterdagavond in het restaurant van Hotel Bent. Het interieur is prachtig, een combinatie van klassiek en modern. Het menu geeft de keuze tussen a la carte of een drie of vier gangen verrassingsmenu. Allebei waren heerlijk. Verrassende combinatie van smaken en texturen. De bediening was vriendelijk en attent. Leuk dat de chef ook nog aan tafel kwam.

Heerlijke vegan gerechten - Edit
We hebben hier in het restaurant gegeten, zonder in het hotel te verblijven. Dit is pas sinds kort mogelijk. Zeker een aanrader. De gerechten zijn smaakvol, de sfeer heel prettig. Fijne akoestiek door houten plafond en gordijnen. Overal waar je naar buiten kijkt bomen en planten. Heel fijne plek.

We had a lovely stay in this vegan hotel. Breakfast was very tasty, especially the croissants. Lunch and dinner were delicious with vegetables which were prepared in a very original way. Very friendly staff.

Groente in de hoofdrol - Edit
Gelegen in een prachtig rustig bosgebied vind je dit verfijnde hotel met restaurant. We kwamen voor avondeten. De kaart is niet reuze, maar als veganist heb je wel eindelijk keuze! De gerechten zijn om erg origineel en wisselen als het goed is met het seizoen. Persoonlijk hou ik heel erg van groente. Daarom vond ik het niet erg dat de pompoen lasagne werkelijk enkel uit dungesneden pompoen bestond (geen lasagne bladeren of saus). Dessert is verplicht! En zorg er ook voor dat je een kopje thee of koffie bestelt, want de brownie fudge die ze erbij serveren is geweldig.

A lovely place that's almost ready! - Edit
Hotel Bent is in a lovely location with beautiful nature trails surrounding it. The 2 buildings that make up the hotel are tastefully decorated and new. The room was spacious, comfortable, with beautiful mosaics in the bathroom, and with a nice view of nature across the road. The breakfast provided was great! It wasn't a hot breakfast, but with a large variety of tasty items such as fresh bread, spreads, cereals, and fruits. The staff we met at breakfast were so lovely too.
Read moreIt would have been a 5-star experience if the restaurant were ready. On the website, it indicated it would be. We didn't come prepared to not have dinner there and when we asked, we were given a few restaurant recommendations but some of these weren't open on a Monday. There aren't any vegan nor vegetarian restaurants super close by and we prefer not to eat at non-vegan restaurants where possible, so we ended up buying a baguette and fixings from the Albert Heijn in town (which was delicious in any case!)
The rooms don't have bar fridges which would be a useful addition, or at least having one communal one on each floor to provide plant milk for making coffee in your room.
Aside from that, it is a lovely hotel and area worth visiting, but I'd call ahead to make sure the restaurant is ready and have a back up if not.
