Delicious oat milk coffees - Edit
Delicious coffee and they have oat milk. A bit expensive. I didn’t have them, but I saw a couple of vegan cakes/sweet on display.

Various cake options and some mains - Edit
Avocado toast with vegan feta was tasty but an easy option. Ginger cake was very good. They also had two other cake options

Vegan brunch options - Edit
Really enjoyed brunch here. There were quite a few vegan options on the menu, and they were clearly marked. The Bombay potato hash was really tasty, and the coffee was good.

Great coffee, some vegan options - Edit
Nice to find vegan cake options to have with coffee. The vegan lemon drizzle was really good. There’s a vegan avocado smash breakfast option too but food is only served after 8am, coffee from 7am. Lovely staff, good place to stop for a bit, work, or just chill.

great coffee, not so good food - Edit
coffee is fab but vegan options somewhat lacking… avocado toast expensive for what you get, and porridge missing flavour for the sake of pretty presentation :((

Gorgeous coffee - Edit
The coffee is always so good from Hot Numbers, though it is a bit on the expensive side! Have vegan options, including cakes. Also have GF options, but non that are both VE/GF, which is a shame. Would like to see them add some more in the future.

Bagel all the way - Edit
I’m not sure if they still do it, but the vegan sausage breakfast bagel was awesome. All the sausages kind of flopped out when you ate it, but that’s kind of what you expect with a bagel. It’s hard to find places that sell bagels in Cambridge (aside from the food shops) so I was pretty pleased to find it. The coffee and the atmosphere here are also good. Definitely a go-to in the city.

Could be 4 star easily with a few changes - Edit
Very nice quality, good portion size, 3/4 vegan options. Fatal flaws: thé toast & préserve marked as vegan comes with dairy butter, they charge extra for oat milk.
Read morePros: Porridge is very large & filling , Good quality , Lovely place with nice staff

Generous portions - Edit
This cafe always seems to be busy. The staff are friendly and helpful. Their brunch menu choice includes coconut porridge (see photo), suitable for vegans, to smashed avocado with feta, mint and tomatoes on sourdough. They also had chocolate and pumpkin spice muffins (suitable for vegans). Salad and soup options included. We went there three times and two out of the three had the salad noted as vegan when it clearly had dairy included. Overlooking that mistake there’s a nice vibe here. It makes note of loving jazz and John Coltrane but the music is no more louder than an indistinct hum. Not that it greatly matters but it’s brilliant music that should be heard!

There were two vegan muffin options when I was there in the morning. The peanut button and raspberry muffin I had was tasty. No oat milk.

Not my thing... - Edit
We went there to satisfy the afternoon coffee craving and were disappointed. There was no vegan cake or anything sweet, and after we established that they couldn't make a vegan hot chocolate, I ignorantly asked for a Latte Macchiato with plant milk and was asked for a size (small/medium/large). I picked small - normally that's generous enough.
Read moreWhat I got was a tiny cup of Espresso with curdled soy milk which formed something like a coffee pudding. Apparently they just serve Espresso in differently sized cups. Wish they would have pointed this out when I ordered - it was obvious I hadn't been there before.
Pros: Fairly centrally located
Cons: Unfriendly staff, No vegan hot chocolate

Lovely little piece of the real world in Cambridge - Edit
The grilled vegan paninis are wonderful! The espresso is also tasty. The atmosphere is cozy and vibrant with more of a range of people than you usually see in Cambridge - it made me feel like I was back home in a little cafe in Seattle.
