Lovely coffee and always have vegan cakes - Edit
Updated review Sept 2024: Hot Numbers have changed their menu to try and reduce the carbon footprint on certain items. The pea smash is absolutely delicious and honestly so much better than avocado! Easy to adapt dishes to be gluten-free too.
Read moreI don’t like that oat milk costs 30p more when they’re attempting to be more eco-friendly… Still no baked items that are both vegan & gluten-free and always very difficult to get a table, but positive changes nonetheless 😊
Original review 2022: Lovely coffee shop that always offers vegan cakes and Gf cakes (though unfortunately, not both). A great spot to work remotely and friendly staff.

Stay for the coffee but Not for the Food - Edit
Nice lovely coffee ( 0.30p for oat milk).
Read moreOrdered the Tofu Scramble Breakfast Tacos, arrived cold, had one bite and it was awful! The tofu was only seasoned with loads of turmeric, they poured a very spiced sauce all over it that overpowered everything. So it was a very spiced plate that was not tasty at all. Inedible.
They had a vegan sausage roll that was alright, the lemon drizzle was nice, and also a ginger cake that I didn’t try.
So, at least you can have coffee and cake here.
The service was good.
Pros: Coffee, Cake
Cons: Food

Fantastic coffee - Edit
This is a superb independent coffee shop with a lovely atmosphere. Vegans are catered for, though there could be greater choice. But it’s the coffee you come for.

Great veggie food, good vegan options - Edit
New to the area and this is the first coffee shop I've tried around mill road. Absolutely loved it. Loads of seating space inside, friendly staff and very relaxed vibes. A couple of good vegan options including vegan bacon but I had eggs and avo on sourdough. Deffo recommend. I'll 100% visit again to try the vegan cakes.

Not enough vegan pastries - Edit
Their oat lattes are amazing, but I can never pair it with a nice vegan pastry because every time I go they’re either out of them or don’t have any. Kind of expensive for the portion sizes, but really great atmosphere. Have live music and drawing nights sometimes.

Lovely little piece of the real world in Cambridge - Edit
The grilled vegan paninis are wonderful! The espresso is also tasty. The atmosphere is cozy and vibrant with more of a range of people than you usually see in Cambridge - it made me feel like I was back home in a little cafe in Seattle. It's fun to hang out when there is a band playing as well.
