Authentic Colombian food

We ate here twice. The first time, I messaged ahead to check they could give us something vegan, and once there we had to go through what being vegan meant and what we could and couldn't eat with the waiter as he was slightly confused to start with. He then said the soup had eggs but he could give us salad, beans, plantain and rice. The food was tasty and very similar to other authentic Colombian food we've eaten with meat etc removed. The second day we had a bean soup which seemed vegan (unless there was meat in the stock) and mixed veggies in a nice slightly spicy sauce, rice and salad with carrots. The salad dressing may have had honey in it so be aware of these little things if you eat here - it might not be 100% vegan, but for a small rural place that probably has never had to make vegan food before they really put the effort in.
