Amazing vegan food in classic local restaurant

It’s rare that you find this level of vegan cooking in Italy, let alone in a non vegan place. This traditional Friulian restaurant makes amazing vegan food. We had great asparagus “omelette”, “seafood” pasta and schnitzel made of beans with morel mushroom sauce. All made of great ingredients. Even a vegan desert of chocolate and hazelnut tart.

Beautiful presentation and inventive dishes

Historic restaurant, with a wide choice of wine, has a vegan section in its menu, with appetisers, a pasta dish, a bean dish, and a cake. All dishes are made with seasonal ingredients. We have ordered their bean and grain fritters with roasted aubergine cream and potato croquette, absolutely delicious. We also had their oven roasted potatoes and a mixed salad. Portions are quite big. Friendly staff, beautiful interior.
