Pies! - Edit
This is a traditional country pub, as such is friendly and welcoming. The pies were excellent, served with chips, peas and gravy, and our friend's curry certainly went down well. The soup was also vegan but I don't know if that's always the case. They're looking to expand their vegan offer, so future customers may get more choice. It's on the transpennine trail and in a bit of a food desert, so is a welcome oasis.
