We were excited to try out an authentic Thai place that was all vegan...no more having to ask about the fish and oyster sauce, shrimp paste, etc.! We ate there for lunch one day and loved it. They even had lots of snacks to take with us, so we stocked up. It was super cheap too!

The next day we went back for lunch again. My wife got sick immediately and threw up in their squatty potty before we even left. She was sick all night. I got sick later that evening too. Luckily the bug only lasted about a day.

I think part of the problem with "real and authentic" is it also means no proper refrigeration or anything, and being that it's prepared food (buffet) style, there's no way to preserve things good enough for our weak American stomachs.

Proceed with caution, but still proceed. :-)

We ate here several times during our stay in Krabi. Our family of four people ate massive servings to the cost of 145 baht total. The place is buffé style restaurant and you get to choose whatever you like. Some of the dishes can be really spicy so I recommend asking for medium or no spice, since one of the dishes I had made me cry cause it was so hot. Also go there around lunch for the most alternatives and warm fresh food. The lady who seems to be the owner is really nice, friendly and generous with servings and speaks good english.

-quality and taste of the food are on spot
-very friendly staff
-best price in Krabi (30-35baht for a good size plate of rice with 1-2 options of buffet)
-also lots of choices ready to take away like sweets and burgers

I stumbled across this restaurant on Happy Cow when I was staying in Krabi Town and was desperately trying to find authentic, tasty Thai food. I was blown away by the buffet options and the lady who ran the restaurant was so lovely.

We were offered free bottled water, a fantastic condiment tray and epic portions. It was by far the best vegan food I had whilst travelling in Thailand.

Visited on January 2016. Not big premises, but clean and nice. Very nice staff. Excellent food, enough options. All vegan, all Thai, fortunately not all spicy. :) Water for free. No plastic (disposable) dishes/cutlery, so environmentally-friendly as well. A small vegan shop included. We loved it there, definitely recommended! ;)
