cozy, delicious vegan-friendly place - Edit
a great place to visit where the food is inexpensive, some dishes are really outstanding. From Taichung Railway Station take the electric bus towards Yi-Shin market (10-15 min) A bus ticket will cost you TWD20, a day pass will cost you TWD100. Tuesday closed. During typhoon season please ask your hotel to call to check if the restaurant is open.I asked the waiter to translate some of the food. No 508- braised fish, No 409- fried tofu, No 523 - sweet and sour noodle soup, No 530 - fried dumplings, No 516 fried rice (Chinese toon ), No 517 - fried rice (curry sauce), No 5171 fried rice (tomato sauce).
Pros: cozy, visited by local vegans, friendly staff and cook
Cons: Chinese menu, no wi-fi
