Satisfied my bean curd cravings - Edit
So I worked in Battle Creek for several years and never knew this place had vegan options, sooo happy for happy cow app. I ordered garlic bean curd and veg lo mein ,& they did not disappoint. Yum! Salty, unami, a lot of food, tons of veggies, bean curd was Bonn. Owner was nice! Will return! I did not post pcs because another person did, but looked exactly the same!

Food was good, service was superior - Edit
The food was pretty good. Still newer to being a vegan so hard to rate but I got the tofu lo mein and it was good. The service was what impressed me. She was knowledgeable about veganism and gave me this menu to take a pic.

It’s food - Edit
Had the Kung Po tofu. About average in flavor. Fine if you’re in the area and craving Chinese, but not something to go out of your way for. Generous portions for a good price. Service was average at best - the woman who seated me seemed a bit curt (need more data).

Cons: Lacks flavor

Delish Deep-fried Tofu - Edit
While you may have to request the vegan menu, it is well-worth the simple ask.
Read moreThere are soups and over 10 main entrees that are vegan. I recommend the Sizzling Rice Soup (the vegan version) and Garlic Bean Curd (rich garlic sauce and deep-fried, large tofu bites with fresh vegetables) and Ching Chow Chow Mai Fung (curry-based rice noodles with vegetables).
The portion sizes are huge and prices are cheap.
Pros: best tofu in town, cheap, fresh
Cons: lacks atmosphere, you have to request the vegan menu

Typical American Chinese food with a vegan menu - Edit
Typical American Chinese food with a dedicated vegan menu. Dishes generally consist of replacing a meat product with fried tofu. Steamed tofu can be substituted upon request. Decor is typical American Chinese. Food was acceptable but not particularly flavorful. I very much appreciate the effort to accommodate the vegan community but would find this restaurant to not be my first choice.
Read morePros: Dedicated vegan menu, A change from Mexican / Pizza
Cons: Typical Chinese American menu, No real atmosphere, Generally just substitutes tofu for meat
