Very disappointing - Edit
Had the Punjabi thali and it was rather bland overall with a greasy feel. Papadum was stale and naan was too chewy. Mango lassi was ok.

Delicious Vegan Options - Edit
I dropped in at Honest restaurant today after shopping at the Indian market next-door for some black salt. The menu said to ask for vegan options which were available upon request. The restaurant is otherwise vegetarian Indian street food but they will make quite a few vegan if you just ask. Everything was made from scratch and very fresh.
Read moreI have never eaten much Indian food and really did not recognize much on the menu. The lady at the register was very helpful. I tried the Bhaji Pav and the Pulav. Bhaji Pav is a very thick, spicy vegetable stew. When I say spicy, I do mean spicy. It was incredibly good. The Pulav dish is a rice dish with vegetables. It paired well with the Bhaji Pav which came with grilled bread. I think my bill was around $18.50. There was plenty for two people. It was really a delicious meal and I would go back tomorrow if I could.
