Fine food, few options, meat forward place, aka not sustainable

Honestly, there is some good food there but very few options. This is a good place if you are with someone who is not vegan. But, it is called homegrown and I just feel like it’s not marketed the best. Sounds like it’s going to be way more vegan friendly, when most of their food has meat in it. It says sustainable on their label when having meat, including steak, is never sustainable. I’m getting to a point in my vegan journey that places that have some options but mostly meat, is not somewhere I want to frequent. Definitely getting sick of any “healthier” food place deemed as vegan friendly, when this really isn’t. But also, I live in Seattle so I have high standard. If you live out here, this may be just a handful of places you can eat, and if that’s so, go for it

Pros: Tasty, Good for people who are with non-veg people, fast

Cons: Mostly meat options, expensive , poorly marketed—not sustainable

Chickpea sandwich

They have two vegan options. I had the chickpea sandwich, which was honestly the best chickpea dish I’d ever had. The sauce is amazing.

We went during a busy time, so unfortunately, a piece of meat was stuck to the bottom of my bread. It happens. Wish it didn’t, but I’m not going to take off a star because one employee was rushing to fulfill orders. Just note that if you have allergies or intolerances, cross-contamination could pose an issue.

Pros: Water refills, Amazing chickpea sandwich sauce

Cons: Cross-contamination

pretty cool

I love the chickpea smash but honestly it's just a Panera Bread without a bakery.

Pros: good vegetables, good bread, clean

Cons: teenagers make your sandwich
