great little store! - Edit
This is a great store with quite a few vegan options. I found vegan ice cream bars (Tofutti brand) and many mock meat items. They also had vegan caesar and ranch dressing with the produce. They have lots of toiletries ie) shampoo lotions sunscreen etc that are vegan and cruelty free.
Read morePros: lots of vegan options in the grocery area
Cons: cafe didn't appear to have anything vegan except , black coffee

Good selection for a small town - Edit
Homegrown Foods sells primarily organic food and grocery items, with selection of vitamins and supplements. I think they could definitely increase their vegan food selection, but, as indicated by other reviewers, they do carry staples and will order in specific items upon request. Some items can be pricey compared to larger stores, but they also carry items you might not find easily elsewhere in the area. They do seem to have a decent selection of gluten free foods, and their bagged organic spice selection is large. They have a customer appreciation day on the last Thursday of the month. That’s a great time to pick up your vegan protein powder, vegan D3 gummies, B12 drops, etc, as all supplements are 20% off. Some food and toiletries, cleaning products, etc are 10% off. For the other days of the month, join their free points club and when you have enough points you can redeem them for free groceries. The will deliver for a small fee. They recently expanded again and now have a coffee shop.

Cons: Can be pricey , Could expand their selection of vegan foods, Sometimes has stock control issues

Our own Planet Organic... kind of! - Edit
A great little store with friendly staff and a willingness to order stuff in if they don’t have it. As a celiac vegan, I’m pleased to find so much outside of Edmonton. Sure city stores have a bigger selection; however, this works well too!
Read morePros: Many gluten free items., Friendly staff willing to help/ do special orders, Great for peeps west of Edmonton.
Cons: Small means a more limited selection.

Used to be better.... - Edit
I loved this place 8 years ago when I still lived out in Spruce Grove. Since they have expanded the store size though, it seems like they are more interested in selling vitamins and less in food. I was really bummed out last time I stopped in. I used to stop there on my way to my Dad's house for food to eat while visiting him. Now everything is insanely expensive (this coming from someone who ONLY buys alternative/organic brands)and the selection sucked. Might try once more and then give up if it hasn't improved.
Read morePros: Found vegan pizza pops, Good bulk section, Stony needs something like this
Cons: Selection sucks, Insanely pricey, More vitamins than food
