Wowza!!!!! - Edit
This place was amazing! We ordered two sampler platters which had four half size entrées and six sides so we could sample absolutely everything. Those two sampler platters fed five of us.
Read morePlease note that they are in a new building and no outside seating like some of the older reviews so everything is air-conditioned, clean, nice and bathrooms. I’ve never had such seasoned food. Absolutely spectacular.

Fabulous Food! - Edit
The food here is absolutely delicious! The southern comfort food reminded me of Sunday lunches at my Nana’s when I was a kid. I had the street loaf with sweet potatoes and greens.

Great food for takeout - Edit
We got there at 3PM on a Wednesday, so they were out of a lot of the sides. The seating would be better on a day that isn’t hot.

ON POINT!! - Edit
When I tell you they have the best cauliflower wings I’ve ever had, that’s exactly what I mean! The seasonings, the crunch, and everything was perfect! I wanted to try the shrimp, but they didn’t have any in stock. My dad and I got the candied yams, Mac n cheese and collards along with it. The flavors just burst in every direction in my mouth! I can’t wait to come back to Little Rock to visit for that reason! Thank you!

Delicious - Edit
Those are probably the best vegan shrimp I’ve had, and I was impressed by the texture. The fries were next level with the extra crispies. The Mac and cheese was as creamy as any I have had lately. Delicious all around. My biggest complaint is the use of styrofoam as the containers. Something paper based would be better. That said, this is an all-round great pick.

Hands-down Delicious! - Edit
I had the 8-piece "shrimp" with 2 sides, and when I say that I was taken to flavor town in one bite, I mean it! The food was fresh and delicious 😋

Best Vegan Soulfood 🥰 - Edit
I love this place and will definitely be back!! The food was WONDERFUL!! Like I can take my plate to a thanksgiving dinner & be 100% satisfied. And I didn’t feel sluggishly full afterward! I love the MacNoCheese, and have been looking for a healthier alternative as I’m lactose-intolerant. Kudos to this place for the fast, immaculate service!!!!🫶🏾💕

The House of Mental Eatery is incredible!!! My favorite dishes are the Kauliflower ChickUnWings, ChickUn Spaghetti, MacNOcheese, and the vegan "shrimp". But truly, EVERYTHING is delicious. The owner is one of kindest, friendliest people you will meet. Follow the business Facebook Page for times.

A great place for vegan comfort food. - Edit
The cauliflower wings are superb. The chik’n spaghetti is awesome. Nora even makes vegan shrimp that are unbelievable. It’s on the back side of the food truck stop on Chester. Great food, great people. Follow them on Facebook or Instagram for hours and specials.

Best Vegan Soul Food - Edit
I go weekly to this little gem. Majority of items are gluten-free as well. Chick’n spaghetti has the best flavor. Mac no cheese is seriously better than anything else on the market.

Delicious comfort food - Edit
As others have noted, it’s a bit hard to find. It’s in a converted gas station that hosts food trucks, but it’s actually in the back of the building tucked away. Has some spots outside to eat. Got the cauliflower wings with yams and Mac no cheese sides. The cauliflower was thickly breaded and really tasty. Sides were delicious. Also got some lemon cake. Definitely going to go back.

All vegan pop up in a truck yard - Edit
This is a little place in an old gas station converted into a food truck yard. There were about 5 food trucks, but this place is in the back of the building. It has a painted "vegan" sign.
Read moreWe got the BBQ and Asian cauliflower wings. The breading was very fluffy and crunchy, like good fried chicken breading. We also got the chick'un spaghetti, which is like a slightly spicy spaghetti with chunks of vegan chicken. They mac and cheese was more buttery than cheesy.
The cauliflower wings were the star though. I wish I had an opportunity to try more of the sides.

Good food - Edit
As others have said, a little hard to find. It's on the back of the building opposite the auto mechanic. I'm sure any of the staffed foodtrucks could direct you. The cauliflower fried chicken is phenomenal. The Mac and cheese was ok. Consistency was spot on but the taste was a little off. Super interesting vibe inside too. And the staff were friendly. The food was done really quickly.

GREAT VEGAN SOULFOOD - Edit
Was a little hard to find, but was so worth it. I got the “everything platter” and everything was great. Mac and cheese, candied sweet potatoes, beans and rice, collard greens, and - the best of all - fried cauliflower.

The House of Mental Eatery is incredible!!! My favorite dishes are the Kauliflower ChickUnWings, Yams Oshun, MacNOcheese, and the gumbo with vegan "shrimp" (made from yam root). But truly, EVERYTHING is delicious. The owner and her daughter run the place, and they are two of the friendliest people you will meet. Watch for when they are open on their Facebook Page, then get down there fast because their stuff can sell out quick!
