Vegan eel as special dish - Edit
We had dumplings as starter, grilled eel and sesame noodle ramen as mains. The dumplings were decent, fried and crunchy. The eel was very tasty as was the accompanying sauce. It's spicy though! The sesame noodles were good, but lacked some more flavour and some more shrimps. It was nice to have some vegetables in each dish. The drinks were good too, we had coke float and ice tea. The vanilla ice could be more intense.

Das Home Taste Jia in Kiel punktet zunächst damit, dass es sich um ein vollständig veganes Restaurant handelt – ein großer Pluspunkt. Der Service war freundlich und relativ schnell, und obwohl das Restaurant gut besucht war, fühlten wir uns gut betreut.
Read moreDie Speisen und Getränke konnten geschmacklich absolut überzeugen. Die Karte wirkte allerdings etwas unübersichtlich, was die Auswahl nicht ganz einfach machte. Die Portionen waren im Verhältnis zum Preis eher klein. Weniger angenehm war unser Sitzplatz in der Nähe der Toiletten, da zeitweise chemische Gerüche wahrnehmbar waren.
Insgesamt ein gutes veganes Restaurant mit leckeren Gerichten, allerdings würden wir aufgrund der vielen Alternativen in Kiel beim nächsten Mal vermutlich ein anderes Lokal ausprobieren.

We ordered the "Hot Pot" which is a fun dish with two soups, lots of vegetables, noodles and different kind of vegan meat options. You can grill the vegan meat options and vary the temperature for the soup to boil and the grill. You cook everything yourself and choose what do add. You also get different sauces ( barbeque, peanutbutter, soy etc) that you can add to your soup. It was very delicious. And we got very good ice cream as a desert included. Especially for birthdays or other get togethers I recommend to book a table and hot pots.

incredibly delicious dim sum - Edit
We decided on the 'Golden Acht Menü' (which includes every dim sum on the menu and is perfect for sharing). In terms of quantity, it was a bit too much for two people. Our favourites were the tofu drumsticks (very good consistency and texture), the fish steak (light fish flavour, good consistency) and the peanut saté (simple, good peanut flavour, crispy tofu). The staff were very friendly and the service was very fast.

Wir waren heute hier zum ersten Mal essen, die Auswahl ist sehr groß und es gibt vieles was sonst nicht in vegan zu bekomme ist (Blueberry Dream Mochi, Michi gefüllt mit Sahne). Allgemein ist das Ambiente sehr angenehm, das Essen sehr lecker und die Bedienung sehr nett. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!

Superfreundliches, komplett veganes Restaurant. Mit einem ausgefallenen Angebot welches eine Augenweide ist. Ich supporte gern Restaurants die komplett vegan sind, da ich die Speisekarte rauf und runter essen kann ohne mir Gedanken machen zu müssen. Wir waren definitiv nicht das letzte Mal dort. Könnte zum Stammrestaurant werden.

Gleich zwei mal gibt es dieses neue Restaurant jetzt in Kiel. Einmal in der Holtenauer- und einmal in der Holstenstraße. Wir waren in der Holtenauerstraße. Unsere Getränke Maracuja Bluemoon und Jasmin Latte waren top, besser geht's kaum. Die Spicy-Nudelsuppe und die BBQ-Nudelsuppe haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir sind an sich keine Fans von Fleisch-Alternativen. Hier waren diese aber qualitativ gut und haben auch gut geschmeckt. Lieber ist uns trotzdem gut gemachter, natürlicher Tofu, Tempeh, Pilze oder ähnliches. Dass die Ersatzprodukte extra importiert werden ist für uns kein gutes Verkaufsargument, eher das Gegenteil. (Stichwort Nachhaltigkeit) Wir sind gespannt was es in Zukunft noch auf das Menü schafft und kommen deshalb bald wieder. Hoffentlich überlebt die mutige Idee vom Home Taste Jia. Viele ältere Leute standen leider mit Fragezeichen im Gesicht draußen vor der Karte und sind dann weitergegangen.

This place is 6/5. Super vegan restaurant, kind you usually find only in big cities (like Berlin). Food was great, service really friendly and lovely restaurant dog Jumi made the experience complete.

Die moderne Inneneinrichtung hat mir gut gefallen und das Team ist super nett. Am meisten haben es mir jedoch die Gerichte auf der Karte angetan, da man die meisten so noch nicht gesehen und gegessen hat. An der ein oder anderen Stelle kann man ggf. noch nachschrauben, wie bspw. etwas mehr Soße zum Reis, allerdings ist das schon meckern auf hohem Niveau, da der Reis selbst super gewürzt wurde.
