What an experience! The food was absolutely brilliant, the host/chef was so welcoming, and the vibe is great. Make sure to make a reservation well in advance. Can’t recommend this place enough!😄

Make sure you book in advance via their Instagram as they only open if they have a booking! We were in Puerto Escondido in low season and showed up outside Holy Moly without a booking, not realizing it was needed. However the chef amazingly came up with a meal that she cooked for us on the spot that night and we got to experience the entire place to ourselves. The food was absolutely incredible, and the owner was absolutely lovely. We had an arugula salad starter, an incredible stuffed cabbage with fake meat. We finished it off with a cinnamon rice pudding topped with baked banana and coconut, and drank apricot juice and Mezcal. The fact she prepared all of this without a moment's notice was truly exceptional and we enjoyed every last bite.

Set menu daily of a caliber seen in major cities. Delicious, been there twice, and once for New Year’s Eve …loved it. Check out the menu for the day on IG. Can not say enough about the experience. The Chef and the owner are so lovely. Unusually good cocktails.

Food was tasty, but for a red cabbage salad with a strawberry and an apple 270$ is not a price I consider reasonable.

A lovely place and set up (worth the walk and time to find!). Lovely people. And really great food. I like that the menu changes every night. One thing that needs to be mentioned - this restaurant is not for those on a budget! I was shocked when the bill came out. I would recommend asking the prices before you eat (they don't have a menu) if you are budget conscious. For most tourists I don't think would be a major issue, but anyone living here should ask. I wouldn't have ordered dessert if I knew the prices!😄(and I would like to have gone back again and supported them more - but just couldn't afford to do so! :)).

I found this place accidentally because my hotel was located in that same street. During my meal I also got a chance to talk to the owner/chef.
Read moreRight now they only operate from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. but the chef told me she wants to add breakfast, too. I had a very big plate full of vegetables, rice and beans and it was so tasteful. I went back the other night and they served vegan Ceviche. The juice (frappe) was excellent, too! Recommend it 100%
Important: the are open EVERY evening. Mon- sun.
The hours here on HappyCow are wrong, I tried to update it but it doesn’t work!

There were 3 meals to choose from: burger with portobello mushrooms or plátanos, or a big salad with vegetables, tofu and herbs. A great place I highly recommend!
