A really good Indian restaurant - Edit
Have a lot of vegan options. Nice and friendly staff.
More cosy than its sister restaurant at Söder.
Learnt (to my fright) that most Nans ar baked with egg!!!
Of course they had vegan nans!
:-)

awesome! - Edit
In my opinion, the holy cow restaurants are the best places to get indian food in stockholm. They have vegan version of several dishes (and lassie!) which are no where else to be found. Great value. Excellent food. Friendly staff.

Good food, friendly service - Edit
No English menu but it was clear which was the vegan section and you can always ask for help.
All our food was good and we enjoyed the meal. We went early on a Friday evening and were glad we'd made a booking. It was pretty busy.

excellent Indian food - Edit
This is a great restaurant with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Vegan options are clearly labeled in the vegan section or with a big V. There are about nine main courses, a couple appetizers, three vegan naans, and dessert. I had the onion Bajaj and loved it. The vegan chicken jalfreze was awesome and so was the naan. Highly recommend. The menu is only in swedish, but the staff and/or Google translate make quick work of it.
Pros: vegan options clearly labeled
Cons: menu only in swedish

Our new favorite Indian in Stockholm! - Edit
Holy Cow Vasastan just opened up a few months ago, and it is a place we will be sure to return to!
There's a separate part of the menu that is labeled Vegan (as well as one Vegetarian) and a few vegan starters as well.
We had the Vegan Tikka Sizzlar, Dal Makhni, Shabaji Kofta and Vegan Tikka masala, Papadum, Samosa and Union Vadji (which, by the way, is also gluten free!). Everything was delicious and not too spicy, they have vegan soy yogurt sauces and and soy "chicken" meat.
The server was awesome, knew exactly what we were asking for and told us that this restaurant is especially focused on vegan customers, which was obvious!
Pros: Many vegan choices, Great service, Delicious food
