This branch of H&B used to have a vegetarian cafe in the basement but unfortunately that shut down a few years ago, shame. It's on two floors so is a nice large store, but unfortunately the vegan selection has been reduced over the years. The fridge now just stocks drinks and none of the meat and cheese alternatives it used to sell, for example. It's still worth popping in for the occasional thing like chocolate, dried TVP mince etc, but it's mainly supplements and protein powder now. For vegan products Folkestone Wholefoods on the Old High Street has a lot more options even though it's a much smaller store.

One thing that is quite nice about H&B are the seasonal items around Christmas and Easter - gift packs, advent calendars, Easter eggs etc are always a pretty good selection and sometimes have a multibuy offer. Staff are always helpful and friendly too.

Everything we need - Edit

We always come here for our multivitamins, seeds, nuts, etc. So useful to have in town. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to help should I need any.
