A small stall that offers vegan bread (banh mi chay) and soy milk. On full moon days (the 1st and 15th of the month) vegan pho (noodle soup) is also offered. Open Mon 9:00am-11:30pm, Tue-Sun 9:00am-8:30pm, Thu-Sun 6:30am-9:30am. Hours reported to be irregular.

Having a banh mi for 65 cents feels like you are robbing the stall. Have tried several in the country now and this is the best of the best according to the price and taste.

At a modest 15k dong (about 60c), this sandwich exceeded all expectations. So good we had two each at the same sitting, we couldn’t get enough! Travellers and locals alike visited the stand as we were sat there which is a great sign also. Tip if you’re of the soap tasting coriander variety like myself : get it without the Rao Ram (vietnamese coriander).

Don’t miss this delicious bánh mì whilst in the Old Town! The stall is located very centrally and clearly marked with the word ”vegan” as well as with the HappyCow logo itself. The bread is soft and fresh with a lovely crispy crust, and the sandwich is stuffed with tofu, shredded mushroom, fresh and pickled veggies, a generous amount of herbs, crushed peanuts, and plenty of chilli. A wonderful flavour combo and amazingly cheap at only 15k each! One of our favourites in Hoi An for sure.

Small open-air pushcart stall selling vegan bánh mì and bottled soy milk. Very cheap at 15,000 VNĐ and 10,000 VNĐ respectively. Few stools for customers to sit on. Tasty and a great way to try a more local eating experience. Located in the Hoi An Old Town, just around the corner from the famous (meat-serving) Bánh Mì Phượng.

This was the best vegan Banh My we have had. The owner ja a list (in English) of the ingredients. There are a variety and all vegan, making a very tasty sandwich. Much better than other stands where you need to be careful no questionable ingredient are added. I highly recommend this place.

I ate this sandwich every day for 5 days. It’s the best banh mi I’ve had after trying so many from north to south. It’s so tasty with very fresh bread! She will ask you if you want chilli oil - say yes! It’s not too spicy but so tasty.
