Service was lovely, there was live music, and the drinks were nice.
Read moreThey had a few vegan options, we had the pretzel which was nice, and the vegan schnitzel which was nice but quite bland as a whole and a lot smaller than the chicken schnitzel. The table was also very thin, you couldn't fit 2 plates either side of one another without a part of the plate overhanging. If you want the experience of a Bavarian restaurant then go for it, but it felt like a bit of a rip off for the food.

As a Munich native, I was impressed by the 5 vegan options. But they are nothing special. You get the full Bavarian experience even with the prices and serving of food. If you're here to drink beer and are hungry, you'll get vegan food, but don't go here just for a meal.

Went here for a late lunch with 3 non-vegan friends. We thought the menu looked good and ordered a garden salad, bread dumplings and a vegan leberkäse. No problem getting a table, but we didnt get service for a long time and we had to hunt for our waiter. Food didnt impress us very much to be worth what we payed.
Read moreI ate the vegan leberkäse and it was basically a swedish potato salad (but room temperature) and falukorv (a swedish dinnersausage). Nothing more. I was happy but it was not worth 14.90 euro.
We decided to not tip anything. The waiter asked us what we thought about the food, and then got grumpy and defensive when we said it was ok.

Cons: Staff wasnt paying attention and was rude, No greens on the vegan leberkäse plate, Bottled water (0.25 cl) was 3.6 euro

My order was Vegan fried Leberkäse meatloaf, it was tasteless badly cooked dish. The “meatloaf” was a grilled open sausage, the potato salad was blend. Had stomach ache after eating, made me wonder if something there wasn’t vegan 😔
Read moreIt was a Saturday night, super packed, the staff was tired and in bad mood, the waiter tossed the dishes in the table and we had to find our own thing, I don’t blame him, must be a difficult place to work on.
Beside that it was fun with a live band and good beer. I would go back there to eat fries and drink beer 🤷🏻♀️

Hofbrau is well worth a visit if you want to experience a German Alehouse. There are a surprisingly large amount of vegan options for such a place. The atmosphere is great and the beers are lovely. We tried the vegan currywurst as well as the vegan schnitzel which while far away from fine dining filled a hole. To drink we had steins of Hofbrau Wheat beer & Maibock. Both went done a treat. Great to visit with friends.

There is a vegetarian section on the menu and a couple of vegan options clearly marked which is great, but the food just is not good. I ordered the vegan meatloaf, not knowing what it was. It was a rectangular block of what looked like spam, I would not call that food. Prices high for Berlin and the food wasn't worth it. If you have tourists visiting and they really want to go there you can just have beer and a pretzel.

For a Bavarian restaurant has it surprisingly many vegan dishes. The vegan curry sausage itself Gas not sooo much taste but with the curry sauce was it very tasty 😋
The size of the meal was ok, but if you are really hungry, one Neal per person is not enough 🙈
The price for the top location and the brand „Munich Hofbräuhaus" is ok.

This is a traditional beer house type place so it’s great that they even have options. There are a few choices of mostly sausage varieties and chips.
