Or tour guide brought us here for lunch one day. The food was very tasty, no complaints. They know what vegan means. We had a tofu dish, a delicious sautéed vegetable dish with garlic, a ginger broth, and spring rolls.

I had the vegan chicken with chili and lemongrass. The vegan chicken wasn't the best - some of the pieces were undercooked and too hard. However, the place is very nice and if I'd had more time in Hanoi I might have gone back to try other dishes.

I had a mock chicken curry and it was really tasty - the fake chicken was a bit rubbery and didn’t taste of anything - but the curry flavour was strong and tasty.

Great find for me and my husband. I had a fantastic vegan curry (best yet in vietnam) and he had a pork - sort of do it yourself summer rolls. Great fun! great waiter. Couldn’t fault

It’s so nice to served by a nice people and nice food. One of best meal we’ve had in a recent day. We ordered some fresh spring rolls vegan and cake from this restaurant. It’s not so much expensive food and drinks. Thank you.

Amazing vegan vietnamese dumpling cake - Edit
I came here by chance and found out that this restaurant is the best travellers choice and tried some local vietnamese food. Especially Vietnamese dumpling cake was amazing. It’s really nice decor here. Will come back soon.

2 pages of clearly labelled veggie and vegan foods. I had the aubergine and tofu, it was so much better than I expected. The atmosphere was lovely and the food arrived in good time and piping hot. Staff were super friendly also

Great vegan options. Menu options are clearly marked with vegetarian and vegan symbols. I had green mango salad, lemon grass and chilli mock chicken (not enough lemon grass for my taste so will try the mock beef tomorrow and ask for mor lemongrass), crispy eggplant and banana and coconut ice cream for desert. Nice found in Hanoi. Our waiter Tiep was very helpful and managed to get me some traditional salt,pepper, and lime dipping sauce for my eggplant dish when I asked.

Had a nice meal at Hoang's however was not very assured that our food was actually vegan. Told the waiter at the front that we are looking for vegan food and he pointed out options that weren't vegan. I would normally not be super concerned by this but there is a massive sign on the building saying vegan food.
Read moreWe initially ordered the fried rice and then he came back out to ask if we needed drinks, we asked him if it had egg as we can't eat it, and he said yes, then ran inside to stop them from making it. Quite a confusing and stressful experience.

Staff very friendly, nice atmosphere. Not too expensive. Food not great. Tofu curry and rice: sauce tasted like a meat gravy, small portions; Vegetarian fried rice: strange flavour, large portion, didn’t eat much of it and they didn’t charge us for the fried rice even though we said we’d pay for it; Fries: kids enjoyed the small portion of fries. Overall, I’d give it a miss. Perhaps the food is better for meat eaters.

El equipo de Tam ( Tam's team) es estupendo; rápido y eficaz atendiendo y enseñando a hacer los rollitos . Hay opciones veganas y vegetarianas. Hemos probado tofu al curry con patatas y arroz y muy bueno. Hay otros platos que también sirven con abundante verdura fresca , frutos secos.... El local es limpio y acogedor.
