Delicious Malaysian Cuisine

I came here as it was near my accommodation and the reviews were good. I ordered ya cniau chye, which was a rich broth with veggies and tofu in it. I paired this with rice. So flavorful. They have other vegan options on their menu as well and they are clearly marked. #Veganuary

Good value, tasty Malaysian

We had the indo mie goreng, nasi goreng, and kari (vegetable curry) and they were all good! Ate with a group of non vegan friends so good to have a good selection of vegan options to join in.

Pros: Good tasty malasian, Decent value

Cons: Prefer to have more vegan options

Delicious food

Amazing food that was served quickly and spicy! Seperate vegetarian/vegan menu was great and made ordering really easy. Highly recommend!

Mixed feelings…

Nice attentive staff, fast serving despite being busy, and delish food.

I enjoyed how great the servers worked and the food but I was disappointed to see the servers as all Asian females in tight and tiny dresses, so short that they had to wear biker shorts to prevent bums from showing. It felt like the Asian version of hooters and not something I am comfortable with my Asian little girls seeing as normal. I guess I could be a bit of a feminist and found it very disappointing.

The rest of the experience was excellent however resulting in a very torn rating. Two stars for atmosphere, 4 stars for quality vegan options and good service.

Incredible dining experience

I love Asian food, but this Malaysian restaurant was so authentic and everything hit the spot. First I want to highlight the incredible service here (yes they ask for your name and remember the whole dining and ask frequently if you need more water etc). The ambience is really nice and they serve cocktails from a proper barkeeper (for a high price though). The food is great. They have a separate menu upon request (I hope they will put both menus down on a regular basis so some people might order vegan instead of asking for it). The dishes I tried were incredible:

Ya Cniau Chye 椰漿菜
Chye Tau Char Bak Chui
One is more like a curry like soup and the other is a stir fry with mixed beans and minced meat (vegan). The flavors are intense the portion size is huge. It is on the pricier side with mains costing around 27/28$ but you get what you pay for
Dessert was sticky rice with coconut milk
Not too sweet and huge!
Good to share
Lovely place

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Staff, Dishes are delicious

Cons: Expensive
