Opened July 2021. First all-vegan hibachi restaurant. Serves plant based chick'n, shrimp, tofu, mushrooms, Impossible burger. Can add vegan egg or hemp seed. All vegan sauces made in-house including yum yum and spicy gochu. Located within Chattahoochee Food Works (food hall). 100% gluten free. Open Mon-Wed 12:00pm-8:00pm, Thu-Sat 12:00pm-10:00pm, Sun 12:00pm-8:00pm.

Big portions, but was lacking in flavor. - Edit
We really enjoyed our meal. We liked the chicken better than the shrimp. I do wish the meal was a bit more flavorful, especially considering the price. But overall, we enjoyed it.

Hippie hibachi is one of my favorite restaraunts there is! I go any chance I get and it always hits the spot! The vegan yumyum sauce they use is something I haven't found anything like anywhere else and I love all the different protein options they have! Would definitely recommend to both vegans and non-vegans alike!

I have loved the restaurant since it opened and it is easily still one of my favorites. So flavorful and there's tons of dessert options in the area. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Tasty with fun vegan proteins - Edit
Nice little space with multiple vendors, great for a work lunch. Ordered a combo meal with "shrimp" and "chicken". The shrimp was enjoyable for those that enjoyed seafood, and the entire meal was delicious and filling. Didn't feel hungry again for hours.

So glad to see a vegan hibachi place! I got the chicken hibachi and added egg. It was great!! Wish I ordered some more yum yum sauce, but it was still very good. The portion you get is huge, be prepared to eat!! We had a bit of a wait, but nothing out of the ordinary for a “food court” style place.

I love that this place is all vegan - you can even get vegan egg in your rice! I really enjoy coming here, but the food is a little greasy and you don't get enough vegetables. The portion size is good, but the price is still a bit hefty. We like to get it on occasion, though I'm sure my partner wishes that I'd want to come here more often.

I have been wanting to try this place since seeing it on Vegnews. Finally made the drive up from Miami, FL, and it was well worth it! The flavors are exactly what I remember from past non vegan hibachis.

Prepared with great seasoning, delicious sauces, and the portions were HUGE! Appreciated the veggie options versus relying on fake meats… TRY THE KONJAC ROOT “shrimp”. The whole market is great to walk around and there are other vegan options in the building and for dessert!

In a cool food court with so many other restaurants. My hubby is not vegan, but always defaults so I can eat without risk of animal & dairy products. This is a nice compromise where omni friends can go to a different vendor.

I’ve been a vegan for over 20 years and before that was vegetarian. Have always been anti cross contamination so have literally never in my life been able to try hibachi. It didn’t disappoint! I also got a miso chocolate chip cookie.

I got the hibachi plate with impossible beef and chick’n. It was absolutely amazing and perfect. Loved every single bite. The yum yum sauce is excellent. I ordered an extra one to douse my plate in. The plate comes with veggies (broccoli, cabbage, zucchini, and mushrooms) that are perfectly seasoned as well.

I’m obsessed. Every component of my hibachi was perfection. The cook, the seasonings, the SAUCE! It was so flavorful and so fresh. I regret not living closer, because I would eat from here at least once a week.

Tasty but not spectacular - Edit
Hippie Hibachi was a spot that I was most excited to try at my trip to Chattahoochee Food-works, however, i was a bit disappointed by my meal. I got the tofu hibachi plate, and the portion was not really worth the price. Don’t get me wrong, the taste was good, but I was hoping for better.

This was one of the first places I went to when moving to Atlanta. I enjoyed the shrimp hibachi and learned they are also adding tacos to their menu! I'll try that next time! They are pricey but the portion size is large.

Cool spot in The Works that has satisfied my hibachi cravings on more than one occasion (and more surely to come). They only sell 1 thing really but they do it well. A bit pricy, but everyone I've taken has loved it. 4.2 stars
