Amazing food always fresh. Clean establishment. The crispy HipCity ranch is delicious as well as the wraps and breakfast items. The shakes are delicious.

I wanted to try everything in one visit but that’s just not happening. I got the crispy chicken sandwich, onion rings and a chocolate banana protein shake. Oh and a cookie for later 😁 Being able to order onion rings at a restaurant made me do the happy food dance!

I got the smoky sweet crispy chick'n wrap. It's was delicious! The "chicken" was very crispy, and the sauce with the medly of carrots and cabbage made for a fantastic flavor combination. The only problem was it was too big for me to finish! Next time, I would get the same item but as a "snack wrap."

Perfect place for some simple vegan food! We had the Philly cheesesteak and the grilled chik’n salad with sweet potato fries. Everything was fresh and delicious. The portions were pretty good too. I loved the chik’n in the salad!

Really fun menu, I wanted to try everything. Food was definitely tasty but not the best vegan comfort food out there nowadays. Chicken sandwich was good but could be crispier. Philly cheesesteak was inconsistent but the cheesy bites were really good. Sweet potato fries were amazing. I’d go back.

SO GOOD. Literally the vegan equivalent of fast food but better. The prices aren’t even that bad compared to other vegan options in DC. The crispy hipcity ranch chick’n sandwich and the ziggy burger were amazing. The cauliflower nuggets were super good and the portion was big. Highly recommend!

This place is extremely overpriced for what it is. I paid almost $20 for a meal that was the size of a kids meal. I had huge chunks of red onion in the sandwich, which, even as a red onion lover was way too much. There wasn't enough ranch. The fries were indisputably just regular frozen french fries with no seasoning and were completely soggy. Overall disappointed with both the quality, quantity, and price of the food.

What a nice little vegan fast food spot right in DC! Not too crowded, great service, amazing food, and plenty of options. Seating is very limited, but I noticed there were a lot of delivery runners coming in and out of the place. So this place is popular. I had the spicy chik'n sandwich with sweet potato fries and a drink. The drinks are worth getting, the kale lemonade and turmeric tangerine were my favorite!

I honestly didn't expect that much from HipCityVeg, since I've never had a great experience with vegan fast food. But, wow, I was soooo wrong. Everything we got was so tasty. I loved my crispy chicken sandwich! Our non-vegan friend even went with us and thoroughly enjoyed her meal! She was impressed by the chicken nuggets. I was also pleasantly surprised that the food was organic!

Admittedly it’s been a minute since I’ve been to the Philly location so maybe that has changed too. But the chicken sandwich seemed a lot smaller than I remembered and not as tasty. The fries were soggy (I should have gotten sweet potato fries as they were always stellar in Philly but went with the white since I have not seen them on the menu before) the didn’t have the salad I usually get in Philly on the menu either. I wouldn’t go here again if in the DC area.

So, I had the Ziggy burger and my partner had the Disco Chicken. We also had the brownie and chocolate chip cookie along with two lemonades. I have eaten at the HCV in Philly quite a few times. I am happy to say the quality of the food is good and consistent with what I have had in Philly. All of the food/drink was delicious.

Read moreI’ve been craving a cheesesteak for a while so you know I had to order it when I saw it on the menu. It is made with maitaki mushrooms and man it was tasty, shared it with some non vegan friends and they all had great things to say. The Cheesesteak came with ketchup on it, I would say the ketchup is not needed as I have never had a Philly Cheesesteak with ketchup, I would order without next time or maybe try one of their sauces to experiment. The fries were fine and the sriracha aioli was perfect with them, wonderful spice. The restaurant had many people and it took a little bit to get my order. Parking was difficult but I think that may have been due to a march madness game going on. I’ll be back if I’m in DC and crave Philly Cheesesteak again.

I looked up “Highest Rated” vegan restaurants in DC and this place came up. Wow, delicious! The portions are a bit small, but the flavor makes up for it. Their fries taste just like McDonald’s fries, it made me very nostalgic. Recommended

Ate my way down their menu while in DC for a couple months. They have everything from salads to “chicken” nuggets, but the wraps are my favorite. They are MASSIVE and super tasty. The Smokey Sweet Chick’n wrap is dope. Their milkshakes are also amazing. They just opened an NYC location, hopefully more to come! #Veganuary

Flavorful and rich comfort food prepared quickly and at reasonable prices. You can get a combo meal with a drink and fries for a few extra bucks. Loved the chicken nuggets, cheesesteak, and chili but the fries were a tad bit stale. The drinks are fun, too, I had the turmeric tangerine and was also intrigued by kale lemonade! 🥤
