Nice place, not many vegan options - Edit
Had a fake beef burger with fries and mayo, was nice. Was a shame the menu is shortened in winter as we had walked there especially for the large vegan menu. Was also a shame my original pick was unavailable so we changed food choices and then my partner's choice was unavailable, bit funny

Tasty vegan pub food. The vegan burger was done well, we loved the accompanying mayonese for the fries. Also the dirty fries with jackfruit and pineapple was very tasty.

Decided to eat here based on walking past and checking out menus. Saw plenty of vegan options.

Husband and son are carnivore and I had the bruschetta and cauliflower bites.
The cauliflower bites were yummy. The bruschetta was a little odd- had margarine instead of olive oil and cucumber (and tomato and onion) on it when I’d expect just tomato and garlic/onion. I wasn’t expecting cucumber and I hate it so it was a pain to pick off. So it filled a hole but wasn’t amazing.
I’m still giving four stars though as the cucumber thing is a preference and the guy running the place was so lovely and friendly! Plus there were so many options I was spoiling for choice.

The menu had a vegan section, so there was no need to search through to find the vegan options. The dessert menu also had its own vegan section.
Read moreI was there with two fussy children and the manager (?) took our order and nothing was too much trouble. Dishes were easily adapted to suit the kids. We were made to feel super welcome. If you're in Ilfracombe, I would definitely recommend you stop here for some food!

Mock lamb kebab is lovely, friendly owner who is very helpful with choices, nothing seems too much, will definitely come again when in the area. 5 stars!

Friendly pub with lots of vegan options - Edit
Manager was very friendly and accommodating. Further to the many vegan options on the menu, there is also a specials board with vegan options, and gluten free options. They are willing to adapt dishes to your dietary preferences. The portions are very generous for the price. It wasn’t the best food I’ve ever eaten but definitely value for money. Their homemade big mac sauce (vegan) is delicious.
