Creamy vegan ramen - Edit
I got the Creamy Vegan Ramen (spice level 2 — it was pretty spicy even for my decent spice tolerance! I recommend a level 0-1 for those with a milder spice tolerance)

I found this restaurant on HappyCow and was not disappointed! I got the creamy ramen and really enjoyed it. I loved the noodles and the tofu. The restaurant also had a really great atmosphere and service.

Tried both to share with my kids. They loved it! Tiny place though and this was the first time I’ve been asked for proof of my vaccination status.

The Best Vegan Ramen in the Bay! - Edit
I love the vegan options here. Both the zen and creamy ramen are quite good. 10/10 for both presentation and flavour!

Hands Down THE BEST Ramen! - Edit
This is hands down the best ramen I've ever had! I got the creamy vegan ramen with an addition of corn and green onions and it was AMAZING!! So much flavor, I've been dreaming about this ramen ever since having it. The green gyozas appetizer were also bomb!! Highly recommend checking out this place if you ever find yourself in Japantown.

Creamy ramen is a winner - Edit
Ordered the veggie gyoza, zen ramen and creamy ramen. Creamy was definitely the winner (uses soy milk) and more flavorful. Noodles were so fresh! Could have used more spicier options and more pumpkin to kick it up a notch.

Delicious vegan ramen - Edit
I tried the Zen Ramen, which has mushrooms, seaweed, carrots, goji berries, inari (sweet tofu), spinach, and fried kale. The broth was delicious, and the noodles had a nice bite to them as well! I really enjoyed eating at Hinoedya Ramen – definitely would love to go back.

Outstanding ramen! - Edit
I tried the creamy ramen and it was so good with the spinach noodles, fried kale, and squash. Spectacular flavor. Even though there are only a couple vegan options it's worth it to try Hinodeya Ramen out. Also as the other person said, yes, the toilet is fancy. It had a heated seat and my family couldn't stop talking about it

You have to try it! - Edit
I had the creamy ramen, and it was stunning. I’m just about ready to get back in the car and drive hundreds of miles to SF so I can have some again!

Ok Ramen - Edit
Good service. The ramen was ok but not what I expected. The creamy ramen was sweet and the zen ramen lacked flavor. They offer very few modifications and absolutely no spice options.

Tasty, quick noodles - Edit
We chose Hinodeya after seeing good reviews online as we were in Japantown and hungry. I'm always a bit nervous of Japanese food and fish sauce, so marked vegan options were definitely a bonus.
Read moreWe had the green gyoza which were delicious, and the creamy ramen. The ramen had acorn squash, nori, kale, mushroom and tofu. The tofu was particularly good, I really enjoyed the whole dish.

Best ramen!! - Edit
Wow!. Although they only have like 2 vegan ramen bowls, it is worth it to eat here. The soy milk based ramen is insane, it’s literally the best thing I’ve ever eaten. They use spinach noodles and fried kale, and you can add fried garlic flakes on top. The first time I went I thought soy milk ramen sounded disgusting, but since it was the only option I tried it, and all my friends were so jealous because their meat ramen didn’t even come close to tasting as good. Note: they only serve the soy milk ramen on nights and weekends, so not during lunch on weekdays.

Cons: Lots of children with parents, Few vegan bowls, They don’t offer soy milk ramen for weekday lunch

This restaurant offers 2 fully vegan ramen bowls. One has a rich creamy broth, the other is clear. Try the garlic onion topping for added yum.

Hinodeya Ramen - Edit
Vegan ramen seems to come in all sorts of delicious forms. This vegan ramen is rich and creamy and is almost like a winter comfort food. Good for chilly SF days.
Read moreSeriously, I've never encountered such a thick ramen broth in my entire ramen-eating life. But it's so good and well-flavored, yet difficult to finish because it's so rich. I love the veggie options included in the ramen too, such as the kale and bell peppers (but not the squash so much). The thick green noodles are also one of my favorite aspects of dish, they were cooked perfectly during each visit.
Bottom line, this place is definitely part of my vegan ramen rotation.

Best vegan Ramen I’ve ever had - Edit
This place has two vegan Ramen‘s. One is best so I milk-based broth that is rich and creamy. The other one is a vegetable base broth. They are both amazing though they usually have only one of them during their dinner service. If that’s the case and you want to check out the other flavor you can ask them and they may hook you up. The vegan crunchy sweet potatoes starter is a yummy idea but not very well executed. Would be much better if they served it in more manageable/bite sized pieces. The ramen is out of this world tho.

First time...delicious! - Edit
I got the vegan ramen and the vegan crunchy yam. The ramen's broth was very creamy and full of flavor. I would def get it again. The crunchy yam was unique. The yam was not sweet at all like most yams are. It had the taste and texture of a potato. Had I not known it was a yam, I woulda thought it was a potato. But the crunchy yams were good and had a delicious dipping sauce.

The zen ramen is a much lighter broth. And the vegan ramen is a thicker broth. BOTH are amazing. I’ve come back 3 times already 😂 come at lunch so there isn’t such a long wait
