Thrilled to find this ramen place!

Super delicious ramen with the vegan items clearly marked on the menu. I tried the creamy vegan ramen one day and the Zen ramen another day. I loved them both, with a preference for the creamy one. Amazing flavors! Lots of good veggies. I opted for the soy noodles instead of wheat for a protein boost.
I also ordered the green gyoza and they are outstanding! The sauce is quite lovely too.
We also tied the vegetable tempura which was good but not what I expected. More like a veggie hot cake than tempura. But the sauce was also great.
Staff is super friendly and fun. Highly recommend!!

Pros: Vegan items clearly marked, Many good substitutions offered, Plenty of indoor/outdoor seating

Cons: Wish I lived closer!

The BEST vegan ramen

Get the vegan creamy ramen! The broth is to die for, and goes so well with the crispy kale! My absolute favorite. They have a small parking lot and it can get busy.

Pros: Great food, Friendly staff, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Very small parking lot

Creamy vegan ramen !

This place has the best vegan ramen in the area imo! It's like creamy bc soy milk and it has fried tofu and kale on top. Definitely get it with more spice though. They also have another vegan soups but they aren't nearly as good as the creamy one. I also like the spicy edamame

This place is ok

This place is ok for a mixed food crowd. I got edamame (which is warm) and zen ramen. Not much protein included (3 thin slices of tofu) and it is indeed sweet tofu, the texture of the noodles was nice.

No one tells you to order on line! Scan the QR code to check the menu AND place order and pay, all digitally. Paper menus are available and those have better vegan marking.

Pros: Wait times are not long

Cons: Paper menu better marked than online menu

Skip it for vegan ramen. Blah

For vegans, skip this place. I was super disappointed with the Zen Ramen (vegan). It didn’t have the ingredients listed on the menus. [censored] load of nasty kale and one giant raw mushroom floating on top. If you still chose to try it, add extra noodles.

Pros: Online ordering and payment, Really fast service, Super courteous wait staff

Cons: Vegan ramen sucked, Didn’t contain all ingredients advertised, A handful of kale (still on stalk) 1 raw mushroom

Flavorful starters

I liked that this place has more than 1 vegan ramen option. The staff was also knowledgeable. The dumplings and tempura were very flavorful. The sauce was pretty delicious. We had the creamy ramen. This was just ok.

Pros: Starters were good, Staff was knowledgeable on vegan options, Ambience was nice

My Favorite Vegan Ramen

Y'all, do not sleep on these spinach ramen noodles! Ask for a substitute to pack in a more flavorful, fibrous noodle option to your already delicious bowl of ramen. INCREDIBLE.

My friend and I split their two vegan ramen options (each at $15). Their Creamy Vegan Ramen uses a flavorful shiitake-kombu dashi combined with soy milk and chilis. While this is a combination I've often made at home myself, the way they make it at Hinodeya was simply spectacular. The rich broth is complimented with stir-fried kale (insanely delicious), pumpkin, mushroom, and spinach, and topped with three thin slices of sweet inari tofu skin. It even looks gourmet just at the photos.

On the other hand, their Zen Ramen offers a more healthy but still hearty take on ramen. The dashi had so much flavor without being too salty and relying on milk for creaminess, and its focus on fresh vegetables along with the stir-fried kale made it an excellent bowl of ramen. While this one used wheat noodles, I would have substituted for the spinach noodles because they were simply amazing.

We also split their Green Gyoza and Vegetable Tempura - both vegan that came with a light sesame dipping sauce. Everything here was simply delicious and I'm so happy that they chose to really amp up a vegan offering because it is some of the best I've had dining out.

They're also very covid compliant and maintain less contact when necessary. Once you are seated, you order and pay from a QR code, making it really streamlined. The best part of this is that you've already paid and can simply get up and leave when you're done eating. They also have a shaded outdoor patio which was perfect for a summer evening.

Pros: Excellent vegan options, Great payment system, Friendly service
