Great little cafe

I tried the blue macadamia chocolate truffle and although it was over 3 francs it was the best vegan chocolate I’ve had in a long while!
We also had a carrot cookie and chocolate cookie both of which were delicious.

Interesting

It's interesting to visit this place and have a look at the products. Some products are made by hiltl (like a bag of frozen hiltl burgers or ćevapčići), so you can't find them anywhere else. While I really love how they sell their own products, I unfortunatley must admit that they are not always better than what you find at Migros for half the price.

go here and not the other location!

the other location is next door and is an expensive buffet with staff that is not knowledgeable or friendly about vegan or vegetarian food. they are easily confused when typing into google maps.

this store on the other hand, had a wide selection and was interesting to see all of the vegan meat products.

All the vegan essentials

The Hiltl "metzg" has a wide selection of vegan cheeses, including raclette and fondue (available seasonally), and plenty of specialty items that are otherwise hard to find. Relatively expensive for items that you can find in other stores, however.

Pros: So many vegan cheeses

Cons: Expensive

Allaround convincing.

The first impression upon entering is overwhelming. This store simply hast the atmosphere that speaks for itself, and all which it offers. Many of the sold products, like the Falaffels, are self made, and they have a wide variety of instant foods, like Seitan, Tofu, and vegan cheese, as well as basic ingredients and a small selection of produce. The Staff was always willing to help with any questions that might come up, and are well informed on their own products. The hazlenut latte is amazing. Their products are clearly labled, however, keep in mind that this is a vegetarian store with Vegan options.

Pros: Great and exotic selection., Helpful staff.
