Gem in a small town - Edit
Hillsdale Natural Grocery is a small town health food store specializing in supplements, dry goods, huge bulk section and some refrigerated items. Vegans can find nut cheese in the dairy cheese case and cream cheeses, vegan mayo, ext in the tall fridge. HUGE bulk section with nuts, legumes, seeds and many many herbs. Large supplement and vitamin section. Seaweeds and “Asian” foods in small back section. Gluten-free flours, snacks, organic canned soups, refrigerated Mac nuts, pine nuts, dates, more. Frozen wheat grass shots. A small health and beauty section with essential oils and at home therapy items. Tons of dry snacks and flax crackers to grab and go. No produce. For organic produce go to Kroger - they have a good organic produce section and in the back of that store you’ll also find meat-replacements, dairy replacements and raw nut cheese.
