Incredible catering options - Edit
I ordered the catering service for 30 people once and I was impressed by the quality. The diversity and originality of the salads, sandwiches and desserts made a good impression on everyone, specially the non-vegan people. Highly recommended.

It's okay - Edit
Only a few vegan options. I had the veggie flatbread, it was tasty but not very special. The staff is nice but awkward (maybe because I am on my own?). Wouldn't recommend.

Delicious dishes made with love - Edit
There weren’t many dishes on the menu that were vegan, but the waitress explained how most could be made vegan (with ingredients added, not just taken away). The quinoa salad and samosa was delicious, and as it was considered a starter the price was reasonable too.

Great service, nice food - Edit
Went here with work. We made reservations for a menu including food for one vegan person. We got a whole bunch of different stuff, and I think a bit over half was made vegan. Very tasty! The service was very friendly the chef brought the food to our table and explained what everything was. He was really friendly and enthousiastic!
Read moreThe only thing is they offered me some gambas... Euhm, no, if someoen requests vegan food they probably don't twant those, thanks. A bit weird for a place that advertised itself as being vegan/alergy friendly.
Pros: Super friendly service, Great food
Cons: Trying to convince vegans to eat seafood

Barely vegan options - Edit
Ate here for lunch. But i was really disappointed by the vegan options. There was a salad you could veganize and soup. But the bread and naan contain dairy. I was hoping for more lunch options. Also pricey.

Definitely recommend this place - Edit
I really like Hills & Mills! The place is cozy and the food that is made is made with love and passion. The food is special and delicious. There are a few vegan options, also serves meat and fish and vegetarian options. The drinks are also yum! Hills & Mills is a very healthy eating place, it is a pure food cafe and I like that, that everything is made fresh. The drinks are also healthy and trendy.

Yummy, but. but pricey - Edit
I had the veggie naan and green tea with acai. Both the tea and naan were very good. The naan tasted homemade and was particularly good. My friend had a shrimp salad and matcha chai. She said the salad was good but the chai wasn't. The restaurant was full so we sat at the small tables near the front door, which were fine but a bit cramped.

Great soup and raw dessert! - Edit
It was freezing cold and I wasn't incredibly hungry so I stayed near the counter and just got the lentil soup which was soul warming and delicious. Then to top it off, I got a raw brownie that was also great. Since I was traveling alone, I talked a while with the cashier who was very friendly.

has to learn - Edit
Yeah, Delft is a very nice city, but I would not recommend Hills and Mills to visit. I have the impression that the chef has not yet found his way to serves decent lunch.
Read moreThe salads are so so, tea and coffee is expensive. In brief: make another choice and come back next year. Might be that the chef has learned. The place is dark, the staff is pleasant as is the take away.

Excellent service, great place, fantastic food! - Edit
Quite unique in the Netherlands, this place also has RAW food options! The food is fresh made, as much biological ingredients as possible are being used and the food tastes great! You can order you're soy latte, herbal tea, fresh juice, veggie lunch / dinner or a good home made cake (RAW options).Your order will be served by the very friendly team. Once you've been in this place, you'll come back for more! And for the tourists, you really need to visit Delft. This restaurant is in the center of the city.
Read moreDon't forget to bring a book that you can leave behind on the bookshelf. You need to write something in the book, so ask the staff for further instructions. If I remembered correctly, you need to write why you think someone else should read this / your book.
Pros: great food, nice owner / staff, high service level, clean and well taken care off
Cons: no con's
