Many Vegan Options - Edit
Over the last few years, I have tried a variety of vegan options from Hija del Maíz and generally enjoyed everything. I have seen them mostly at farmer’s markets around San Diego. The vegan options are always clearly labeled, and usually, about half of the options are vegan. Personally, I think their cakes are the best, but there are options for everyone.
