Solid Thai food - Edit
3.5 stars but I’ll round it up. American vibes, good Thai flavors. Portions aren’t huge but got the job done. A good quick stop while passing through town

The overall menu is small, but there is a decent percentage of vegan options. It's a "pay first at the counter with your order, get your water and utensils," but the staff brings the food to the table. It's a great place to unwind with friends over well-made food, less so for a romantic meal.

Too Spicy for Us - Edit
They do have a lot of vegan options and they’re clearly labeled which is great. But even though we got the least spicy curry, it was too spicy for both of us. So were the samosas. There were no Thai staff at all and it didn’t taste like authentic Thai food. Has a very nice building, but with high vaulted ceiling so the noise level is also high. Probably won’t go back.

Newly labeled menu - Edit
High Thai did a menu update recently and now the paper menu in the restaurant is very clearly labeled to show which dishes are vegetarian or vegan and when a dish may be modified to be vegan or vegetarian. This update was the result of a suggestion from the community and I really appreciated them taking the idea to heart to make the restaurant more inclusive and welcoming. My favorite dish is the peppery green bean appetizer and the yellow curry with tofu.

I went there with a group of folks from Compassionate Dining and we ordered several dishes. I got the Panang Curry with tofu and I found it flavorful, spicy and I was pleased with the portion size. Others order the Thai Spring Rolls - appreciated their crispness; green bean appetizer - perfectly seasoned; Peanut curry with tofu and noodles - delicious with a nice amount of peanut flavor.

There are a lot of vegan options and the staff are very knowledgeable about all of them, I’ve even been told they use a separate fryer for vegan items so there’s no cross contamination! The only downside is that it can be a bit expensive.
