Vegan Options Gone - Edit
Traveled out of the way for the vegan musubi based on a food blogger from late 2023 but all that’s left is a “plant-based” chia pudding that’s got honey in it.

Vegan options gone - Edit
They no longer carry the vegan cinnamon roll. They have a vegan lemon or chocolate loaf as options. Didn’t try either one. We wanted to try the lemon loaf but they didn’t have any at 8am on a Saturday. Only vegan options for food seemed like the kimchi avocado toast and their spring special of Thai peanut butter toast. We tried those two and they were ok. Long wait and not many vegan options.

I had oat milk latte with local honey. We shared large Avocado toast. Local sweetbread with lots of avo, fermented onions and furikake. Both totally yummy!

Solid Vegan Options - Edit
We ordered the Vegan Musubi, Avocado Toast, the Veggie Wrap & and cinnamon roll. We also ordered lattes. My husband liked his latte while I didn’t care for mine. The food was good and made fresh. I really enjoyed the Musubi and the cinnamon roll.

Lovely cafe! - Edit
I ordered the matcha late with oat milk and the avo toast from the menu. My partner ordered their cappuccino. It was really good. The cafe itself has a really great vibe, and the aesthetics is really nice! I would go back in a heartbeat.

Few options, messed up order - Edit
I thought the vegan options were not great and not well labeled. My wife ordered a vegan musubi but was accidentally given a non-vegan one with crab. Regret coming here.

Great coffee and vegan donuts - Edit
We came in for iced coffee and saw they had some vegan donuts. The donuts (Ube coconut and Matcha Lilikoi) were great. We bought a bag of their coffee that we have been enjoying all week at our place. Staff was friendly. Solid choice.

Vegan Musubi!!!! - Edit
I was so excited to find vegan musubi while visiting The Big Island. It brings back memories from trips past and could enjoy it again. It had a nice sauce on it, a bit spicy so watch out. It maybe could have been a bit saltier since that’s what I think of with musubi. It made me do happy!

Vegan items on menu… that they then messed up - Edit
Stopped in to get a to go lunch since I saw on Happy Cow they had vegan items. Gonna save all the details, but basically just a bad experience all around where they were out of the vegan cream cheese for the panini, then proceeded to bring it out with real cream cheese in it. Server forgot about us, bad experience. Asked for a refund and got out of there.

We tried the Vegan Musubi and the Vegan Panini. I would recommend the Panini. The Musubi was the best tofu version we have had but needed more flavor.

Nice setting - Edit
Came here for the Musubi and stayed for the ambiance. I’d give it 3 stars for food and 5 stars for the setting.
Read moreWe ordered the vegan musubi, chia oat pudding, and vegan panini. Unfortunately there were no vegan donuts today. The musubi was bland but I’ll give it an A for effort. The pudding was nice and filling. The panini was delicious but it was small. Needed to be more to justify the price.
The setting is open air and filled with a nice breeze, which is great during corona-days. Plenty of parking too!

Vegan donuts! - Edit
We came here for the vegan donuts! They were very good- not overly sweet, and some fun flavors. I loved how fluffy the donuts were! They let us know that the donuts sell out by 10am usually. They also had vegan cinnamon rolls. It looks like they have a couple of vegan options on their menu as well.

Musubi - Edit
I was on a mission for tofu musubi and found it at this coffee shop. They have several vegan breakfast-type options (chia pudding with granola, superfood lattes, avocado toast, almond butter toast) and malasada with fruit jam that was delicious. The vegan musubi was just okay - it was a decent portion, but underwhelming and the added sprouts were just weird. The service was horribly lacking.
