Delicious tofu musubi. So ono! And two large pieces.
Mushroom soy decaf latte, also delicious.

Vegan options gone

They no longer carry the vegan cinnamon roll. They have a vegan lemon or chocolate loaf as options. Didn’t try either one. We wanted to try the lemon loaf but they didn’t have any at 8am on a Saturday. Only vegan options for food seemed like the kimchi avocado toast and their spring special of Thai peanut butter toast. We tried those two and they were ok. Long wait and not many vegan options.

Pros: Two vegan toast options, Vegan loaf options

Cons: No vegan cinnamon rolls any more, Long wait

Vegan Options

Place was nice & customer service too, however food and coffee was ok!
Could definitely be better, more flavor needs to be added to the veggie sandwich and vegan musubi.

Delicious!

I had oat milk latte with local honey. We shared large Avocado toast. Local sweetbread with lots of avo, fermented onions and furikake. Both totally yummy!

Solid Vegan Options

We ordered the Vegan Musubi, Avocado Toast, the Veggie Wrap & and cinnamon roll. We also ordered lattes. My husband liked his latte while I didn’t care for mine. The food was good and made fresh. I really enjoyed the Musubi and the cinnamon roll.

Pros: Vegan Musubi

Cons: Plant milk is extra

Lovely cafe!

I ordered the matcha late with oat milk and the avo toast from the menu. My partner ordered their cappuccino. It was really good. The cafe itself has a really great vibe, and the aesthetics is really nice! I would go back in a heartbeat.

Few options, messed up order

I thought the vegan options were not great and not well labeled. My wife ordered a vegan musubi but was accidentally given a non-vegan one with crab. Regret coming here.

Out in the afternoon

I came in at 3:15 and the vegan items were all gone. Iced coffee with oat milk is good. $5 and they have agave and turbinado sugar for sweetener.

Pros: Nondairy milks

Cons: Out of vegan food at 3 pm

Not so vegan friendly anymore

Put spam musubi back on the menu or at least replace it with another vegan item. Have at least 1 vegan pastry available

Pros: Non dairy milks for coffee, If they don’t sell out there’s vegan donuts

Cons: Expensive, charged me $8 for sm ice blended coffee, Out of literally all vegan items except panini, No specialty vegan drinks without mods

Great coffee and vegan donuts

We came in for iced coffee and saw they had some vegan donuts. The donuts (Ube coconut and Matcha Lilikoi) were great. We bought a bag of their coffee that we have been enjoying all week at our place. Staff was friendly. Solid choice.

Vegan Musubi!!!!

I was so excited to find vegan musubi while visiting The Big Island. It brings back memories from trips past and could enjoy it again. It had a nice sauce on it, a bit spicy so watch out. It maybe could have been a bit saltier since that’s what I think of with musubi. It made me do happy!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Friendly knowledgeable staff

Loved the coffee

We had coffee here several times during our week in Kona. Loved the iced mocha with oat milk. We also had the avocado toast and the vegan panini and enjoyed them.

Vegan items on menu… that they then messed up

Stopped in to get a to go lunch since I saw on Happy Cow they had vegan items. Gonna save all the details, but basically just a bad experience all around where they were out of the vegan cream cheese for the panini, then proceeded to bring it out with real cream cheese in it. Server forgot about us, bad experience. Asked for a refund and got out of there.

Pros: Vegan items listed on menu

Cons: Out of the vegan items, Served dairy cheese on our vegan panini [?!??], Server forgot about us.

Good options, great atmosphere

We tried the Vegan Musubi and the Vegan Panini. I would recommend the Panini. The Musubi was the best tofu version we have had but needed more flavor.

Delicious!

So excited to find a place with vegan malasadas. Would definitely recommend. Lots of vegan items and items that can be made vegan.

Pros: Clearly labeled vegan food, Vegan malasadas

Cons: Some wait time for food. (Nothing too crazy), Can run out of vegan pastries

Nice setting

Came here for the Musubi and stayed for the ambiance. I’d give it 3 stars for food and 5 stars for the setting.

We ordered the vegan musubi, chia oat pudding, and vegan panini. Unfortunately there were no vegan donuts today. The musubi was bland but I’ll give it an A for effort. The pudding was nice and filling. The panini was delicious but it was small. Needed to be more to justify the price.

The setting is open air and filled with a nice breeze, which is great during corona-days. Plenty of parking too!

Vegan donuts!

We came here for the vegan donuts! They were very good- not overly sweet, and some fun flavors. I loved how fluffy the donuts were! They let us know that the donuts sell out by 10am usually. They also had vegan cinnamon rolls. It looks like they have a couple of vegan options on their menu as well.

Top notch vegan panini

I was on a mission for sustenance when Herbivores did not open at the regular 8am. I found it here with a delicious vegan panini. Definitely worth the walk.

Musubi

I was on a mission for tofu musubi and found it at this coffee shop. They have several vegan breakfast-type options (chia pudding with granola, superfood lattes, avocado toast, almond butter toast) and malasada with fruit jam that was delicious. The vegan musubi was just okay - it was a decent portion, but underwhelming and the added sprouts were just weird. The service was horribly lacking.
