This is a music venue with a meat barbecue in the bar room. Don't come here if you're looking to eat anything other than dead animals. The Vietnamese restaurant on the next block is a better choice. Plenty of veg/vegan options on the menu.
Memphis is not an up-and-at-'em sort of town. We rolled into the Hi-Tone at about noon for breakfast. It's definitely more of a bar/indie band venue than a restaurant but our breakfast was delicious: whole wheat toast, eggs, biscuits, home fries, etc... Nice staff.
