Read moreGood bits! The welcome was friendly and service quick. The curry puffs are basically a samosa & tasty. We tried a clay pot each and with that and one portion of steamed rice to share we still had leftovers for lunch the next day. Lots of fresh veg in it & loved the wide variety of mushrooms!
Not great bits - the sesame toast was tasteless and very greasy, decor is "interesting" and I don't like a bill that adds 10% to it but doesn't say! Lots of fake meat/fish, which some won't like.
No alcohol served: but we just had a Heineken zero each: and we weren't bothered.
£54 for two for all of it Inc tip.
Looking forward to trying the dim sum and some other new dishes next time.

First time here and it did not disappoint. We had the barbecue platter which was three different types of fake meat, all really tasty. The sweetcorn chicken soup was incredible and I will definitely be back.

Came here a year ago and the food was amazing but it has gone downhill. My Buddha Chow mein had no sauce or flavour, i was given a spoonful of soya sauce to attempt to improve it, to no avail, and the fish and chips was made with oven chips and a basic curry sauce. The starters were overcooked too. Such a shame after our first visit.

I would recommend the vegan lo mai gai, it’s rice with mushroom and vegetable filling cooked in lotus leaf. Very delicious. I never tried it before and was pleasantly surprised, the flavours are very good and aromatic leave makes the rice taste incredible.
Read moreI also recommend the lamb stew with beancurd in the claypot, the broth is very umami with the mushrooms and miso, tastes almost like a ramen, super tasty! The deep fried mochi dessert was different and so delicious. We loved everything. This place is a hidden gem! Will definitely be coming back.

Read moreI've eaten here before and took a couple of friends with me. One of these friends is a Hong-Konger and he's very meat focussed. He really enjoyed the food and plans on bringing other friends again.
The food is delicious and the chef does an excellent job of producing dishes that meat eaters will love.
No-one should be put off by the term vegan in the title it's just too good to miss out on.

Somehow they've managed to recreate a lot of traditional Chinese dishes with brilliant creativity.
This could be the best restaurant I've been to.
But watch out, the clay pots are very hot so don't burn your tongue like me.

This place was is such a hidden gem. The menu is pretty big and you’ll be overwhelmed with choice. There’s some really interesting and unique options too that you don’t often see. There’s portions are huge so it’s better to order one main and loads of side dishes to share. Staff are lovely and has a great homely vibe!

Read moreI really enjoyed the food, mainly because it reminded me of when I was little, although the flavours are more subtle, the textures are all there, each dish were really enjoyable.
The lady there was really lovely, wished this place was closer. There are a nice amount of tables and seats to eat indoors.
Loved seeing the round tables with big table cloths on them, it makes the whole place feel more like an actual Chinese restaurant.
The lighting is a bit bright it you sit at a table right next to the light.
The prices are pretty standard, and they accept cards.

Really tasty food. All vegan and plant based. I enjoyed the meat replicate beef in black bean and we also had tofu in sweet and sour. The noodles on the side are very tasty. Spring Rolls and Satay for starters also very nice indeed. Would visit again or alternatively get food as a takeaway. They serve soft drink options but you can also byob.

What a wonderful place! The staff are so friendly and Ming the owner came over to say hello and chat. Two vegans, a veggie and an animal eater and all 4 of us loved it and will deffo go again to eat in or get a take away! I chose the steamed chicken and mushroom dish which Ming told me was his wife (cooks) grandmother's dish so it felt even more special! It was served in a lotus leaf with so many different and unusual mushrooms!!! 💚 We got a shared platter starter between us, all yummy, then the other dishes eaten and enjoyed were braised tofu clay pot, chow mein and sweet and sour. Everything was served hot and we took our own alcohol as it's BYO, but I also enjoyed a tasty bubble tea!

Read moreA lovely family owned plantbased business, welcoming everybody with open arms. They are so kind, warm, genuine, accommodating and provide a great service with a smile. The atmosphere is so calm and peaceful, and it does not feel awkward eating out on your own in there.
The menu is amazing, and I have never seen such a large variety before, so much choice, and it all sounds amazing. Big dilemma, as I want to try it all, but I also liked the food I had so much, that I definitely want to order it again the next time (which will be very soon 😋).
It would be great to go with a group and order loads of dishes, put them all in the middle, get plates so you can just share all.
The food is absolutely delicious and you would not know it is plantbased, so everybody's taste buds will be left completely satisfied in, there even non vegans.
I feel so lucky to have Hey Hey within walking distance and will be a regular. Also, I ll be over ordering, so I have plenty to take home with me, as it taste so nice heated up in the airfryer too 😁.
All in all a top notch place that I highly recommend 🤤😋💚🌱

Love love this place, been twice in 1 week 🤣. You just want to try it all, feeling absolutely torn as the food is so good that you want to have the same as before but also want to try new dishes. Only option is to order plenty and take home for afters 😁💚🌱
