The food was rather average, I got the cauliflower vegan dish. It was roasted cauliflour, hummus and beetroot. The atmosphere was great. So if you’re going with people you love and they aren’t vegan it’s an amazing option.

A very confusing experience to Herve. It’s a cool atmosphere. Krakow has some amazing vegan restaurants but I did struggle to find omni restaurants with decent vegan options so I was happy to find Herve. We stood by the door for a couple of minutes unsure whether we just sit or wait. In the end we decided to make a b-line for the menu’s and sit ourselves. As we walk in we are greeted by the waitress. I won’t go into all of the interactions but she did not like me one single bit. Even my partner commented on her attitude towards me and how it vastly differed to how she spoke to him. What was even weirder is we soon started to be served by another waitress. I’m not sure if this was on purpose but our second waitress was the nicest, sweetest girl. It was so bizarre. Anyway, the beer was nice. My cauliflower dish was average but it was good to have omni options for my partner. We would have stayed longer but I was not at ease at all after dealing with our first server. It’s a shame we had to cut our evening short there especially as the other girl was so nice.

The former synagogue has been transformed into a very cool bar and eatery that appeals to many locals. They offered two vegan options: a Beyond Burger and a veggie risotto. The Beyond Burger came in a folded large tortilla with a generous amount of mayo and lettuce toppings. Thick fries and ketchup came as sides.

Buzzing atmosphere - Edit
Inside an old synagogue and still has the old paintings and deco. Very popular - we arrived early but soon after there were people queuing out the door to get in. There was a vegan smoked tofu salad and a beyond burger. The salad was good but far too much dressing.

Ordered vegan burger was given a non vegan burger then complained and was made out to be in the wrong. I was then served a half frozen beyond burger. Did not eat and chips tasted like they had been cooked with meat.

Good variation of vegan options but was shown to a tiny table in corner squashed between the wall, coat rack and the next table. When asked if we could sit on one of the many unreserved tables somewhere else we were sent upstairs which was self service. No one came up to see if everything was ok. Staff were not at friendly. We sat upstairs and watched another 2 couples sit and then asked to move at whch they were moved to other tables in middle of room, which when we asked werent available #Veganuary
