Lovely, bustling cafe with vegan options - Edit
This place is clearly popular with locals and visitors. It's a lovely tea room in traditional style and right in the heart of town. The staff were attentive and polite and clearly well trained to provide excellent customer service. There is a separate vegan menu with a good selection of fillings - some quite inventive (tofu and avocado, peanut butter and banana) for sandwiches, paninis or a baked potato and also a small selection of vegan cakes (note - a vegan scone would be great!). We also had the lentil soup - vegan - and it was very tasty although it could have been a bit thicker.

Great options, friendly staff - Edit
Had a 10 minute wait for a table as it was really busy. Staff were friendly, separate vegan options "allergen champion" on at all times, cake was very moist, they blend their own tea and Earl Grey was great.

Quirky tearoom - Edit
Separate vegan menu, mainly soups and sandwiches etc. Did go for breakfast one day and they allowed us to mix and match with the normal menu which was helpful.

Good food, generous portions - Edit
Lively wee tearoom with lots of options for the tea jennies. Vegan menu is decent and had the same combo options as the regular menu, with vegan food options of course. Their cake is nice too (if a little dry).

Hettie's Tearoom - Edit
Very busy little tea room with a separate vegan menu which is soup, sandwiches, salads, and baked potatoes (we had to ask for the menu). Soup was delicious but tofu and avocado sandwich was very bland - just tofu straight out of the pack and sliced onto bread, with a smearing of avo. Table was very small which made eating awkward. Staff were great though and told us about milk options (soya, almond and coconut if I remember rightly!). Plenty of different types of tea, the morning cuppa is nice and strong.

Rather bland and boring food - Edit
There is a separate vegan menu, which is a huge plus. However, you might need to ask for it cause they only provide you with their regular menu first.

Vegan menu - Edit
This place has a separate vegan menu. Me and my other half had the soup and sandwich combination and both really enjoyed it. They have so many teas to choose from and offer soya, coconut and almond milk for coffee's. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Excellent Cafe - Edit
Visited this lovely little tearoom on Pitlochry High Street on a Saturday afternoon for lunch.
Read moreIt's clearly a popular place, as we weren't able to be seated straight away but were able to reserve a table for 15 minutes time, which we just spent window shopping along the High Street.
They have their own vegan menu, which offers soup (homemade), baked potatoes and sandwiches with a good choice of fillings, as well as cakes and sorbets for dessert.
We tried the pea soup, and both the red pepper and humous sandwich and the vegan haggis sandwich options. All of which were delicious.
The staff were very helpful, the cafe had a nice atmosphere, was dog friendly, and had very clean toilets.
The only disappointment was that the vegan carrot cake, while edible, was rather dry, though this would be because it was also gluten free. We fed this back to the staff, who were not only apologetic, but appreciated the feedback and explained that they'd not been doing the vegan menu that long and were therefore still learning and grateful for any constructive criticism so that they could improve and get even better. They even insisted on not charging us for the cake, despite us having been happy to pay for it!
Definitely recommended to all.
Pros: Great soup., Great sandwiches., Great staff.
Cons: Carrot Cake a touch disappointing.

Really nice - Edit
Really helpful staff. Standalone vegan menu. I had parsnip soup with hummus and sun-dried tomato sandwich. I had the Jammie dodger for dessert. I was offered 3 alternative milks with my coffee. While I was there I heard lots of people ask for the vegan menu so it's obviously popular with vegans.
