🌱 Exploring Vegan Delights in Prague - Herbivore! 🍔🍕🥗

🍽️ We recently dined at Herbivore, a charming vegan restaurant in Prague 2. Open from Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00-19:00, Herbivore offers a diverse menu of vegan dishes.

🍔 We savoured the Beyond Burger with Tomato, Onion, Pickles, Lettuce, Vegan Mayo, and Dijon Mustard, served on a La Lorrain bun. The daily specials included Tomato Soup with Mini Patties and a Lentil Quinoa bowl with Fried Tofu, Fresh Veggies, Marinated Cabbage, and Avocado-Mango Dressing.

🍰 For dessert, we indulged in Raspberry Cheesecake (Cashew-based) and Apple Pie (vegan butter). To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a Flat White with Oat Milk, boasting nutty and chocolatey notes.

🌿 What sets Herbivore apart is its commitment to fresh, seasonal ingredients. The cosy ambiance and friendly staff like Bára made the experience even better.

☕ If in Prague, Herbivore is a must-visit for a delectable, eco-conscious meal! 🌿🍔🍰☕

Loved the Acai bowl

Very nice experience just few weeks back. I had very good coffee and awesome Acai bowl. Service was nice, I like this place for the view and also interior and outdoor seating.

Pros: Acai bowl , Nice place, good coffee

Posh Vegan Store

Herbivore is really cute, friendly place with very tasty dishes and quite nice vegan products offer.
Located in very posh area unfortunately makes the prices pretty high, because renting this place must be very pricey. I understand the expensive fresh food or dishes made for daily sale (bistro). However, you can buy there also some of the popular vegan products, which are available everywhere and cost less. Like really less (soy products, vegan cheeses etc.).
So, although I really wish the place well, I will probably not be visiting it any time soon...

Pros: Food Bistro, Staff, Location

Cons: Prices

Bar, cafè or a store?

It is quite difficult to decide which the purpose of this place is. At the beginning it looks like a cafè, then you realize that they serves warm food also, finally the girls invites you to look at the produces theys sell (nuts, energy bars, cosmetics, etc.). It was quite late to have a meal, so we asked for a chocolate cake and a chia seeds dessert. They were OK, but nothing special. The girl offered us to try the czech almond milk and we appreciated it (never tried something so smooth). I will come back one day, but there are some things thay they shall keep working on.

Pros: cozy, nice staff

Cons: pricey

Great food

After looking around Vysehrad, we came here for lunch. The hummus, falafel and salad were great. We finished with coffee and dessert and felt most satisfied. The owner and staff were very interested in our opinion of the meal and were most helpful and positive. The atmosphere was bright and light.

Pros: Fine food, Nice clean restaurant , Engaging staff

Would do with some tables

I really loved the cousine: rice with lentis and cauliflower curry were great! Pumpkin hummus was delicious too. But there were only one dinner table (surrounded by the shelfs with the products they sell) and one coffee table most of space on which was taken by flowers.

I'd really like to enjoy their food using table. Would even take a photo then.

Want some tables. Please.

Good stuff!

Really bright and clean interior, chap behind the counter spoke English and was really helpful explaining how the salad buffet was charged and what the items were. Really nice food, the homemade hummus was great. Very reasonably priced, about £7 for two people. Also a good selection of groceries and a scoop section right at the back.

Awesome little store!!

I loved the food at this place and its soooo cozy! They also carry cold-pressed juices from Raw Deli, which was a great surprise. Two of my favorite places in one :D
