🌱 Exploring Vegan Delights in Prague - Herbivore! 🍔🍕🥗 - Edit
🍽️ We recently dined at Herbivore, a charming vegan restaurant in Prague 2. Open from Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00-19:00, Herbivore offers a diverse menu of vegan dishes.
Read more🍔 We savoured the Beyond Burger with Tomato, Onion, Pickles, Lettuce, Vegan Mayo, and Dijon Mustard, served on a La Lorrain bun. The daily specials included Tomato Soup with Mini Patties and a Lentil Quinoa bowl with Fried Tofu, Fresh Veggies, Marinated Cabbage, and Avocado-Mango Dressing.
🍰 For dessert, we indulged in Raspberry Cheesecake (Cashew-based) and Apple Pie (vegan butter). To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a Flat White with Oat Milk, boasting nutty and chocolatey notes.
🌿 What sets Herbivore apart is its commitment to fresh, seasonal ingredients. The cosy ambiance and friendly staff like Bára made the experience even better.
☕ If in Prague, Herbivore is a must-visit for a delectable, eco-conscious meal! 🌿🍔🍰☕

Nice lunch - Edit
Nice place to eat some breakfast or lunch. There was somebody eating something that wasn't on the menu so I guess there is a secret menu... 😅

Very delicious food - Edit
A little restaurant with only vegan food. They have main dishes and also some sweet stuff and you can also shop a lot of vegan groceries. You can sit inside and (but it is small) there are also some tables outside. The food was very delicious and the staff was friendly. Got the food very quickly. We would come again to this restaurant.

Memorable. Cozy. - Edit
Herbivore can make an impression on you as soon as you step into the entrance. I felt like I was entering someone's home: I would describe Herbivore's interior as elegant and rustic (with chalkboard menu signs, blue and white wall decorations). Their chocolate cake with blueberries was a terrific standout dessert, and I loved their Penne Pasta with Peas in Cream Sauce, Tomatoes, and Tempeh. I believe this is a must-try when you're in Prague.

Nice vegan minirestaurant with a shop - Edit
A very nice vegan minirestaurant (next to ice cream shop) with a shop inside, good location near the centre and the river but maintained nice atmosphere; the serviceperson was very friendly and helpful. Also the food (buddha bowl and shake) was of very good taste. Could be a bit larger but I understand they can’t really help that :)

Very tasty and has the best fried cheese in Prague, trust me - Edit
Herbivore offers a nice self service brunch every day that is very tasty. Usually has a soup, at least one proper hot meal, dips, salads, avocado toast, burrito, baked beans... All taste great and you pay per weight except for stuff like the avo toast that has a fixed price. It is rather expensive but feels homemade and fresh. Free tap water on the table. Limited seating as it is inside of a health shop.

Wonderful - Edit
Echoing other recent reviews praising Herbivore. Bright, charming, welcoming. Wide array of offerings: creative and fresh salads, soup (borscht the day we were there), smoothies, cakes, coffee. Not close to city center but a three minute walk from the Park Inn hotel.

Near to Vysehrad - Edit
The first thing I’ve noticed in Herbivore was the beautiful interior: white-turquoise colours, fresh flowers, nice looking objects. Delicious food was served on the buffet table, we could choose whatever we wanted and the price depended on the weight of the chosen dishes. There were tarts, salads, casseroles, hummus, baked vegetables. With a real pleasure we started with a hot, delicate, creamy soup. Then we moved to tarts, warm vegetables and salads. All was well cooked/baked. Unfortunately it was very expensive.

Root 66 - Edit
Quite simply an amazing place. Restaurant, shop and wine cellar. The brunch items are superb including some of the most delightfully creamy hummus and astonishingly realistic fish & chips. Pay by weight, so don’t be too greedy! The coolers are full of vegan groceries and a wine cellar down below has a refreshing range of locally sourced vintners as well as bottles from further afield all very reasonably priced. Take a seat by the window and enjoy views of the Vltava river. What’s the score, herbivore.

delicious comfort food - Edit
I was trying to find a nice vegan restaurant close by im Prague, so I found this one by the good reviews. The food is served as a buffet, you pay by the weight. No tofu, no soy - made me very happy! The hummus was amazing and the curry with pumpkin super yum. So comfy to sit and directly by the river with a nice view. Top.

Expensive, not my style - Edit
The food is good, but rather expensive. The place itself has this weird kitsch "provence" feeling, kinda modern bio-eco bulshit I don't like. There is not much places to sit and in the back room is one huge table, not comfortable. If you don't mind pricier food and this kind of style, nothing wrong there.

Small, lovely place with great food! - Edit
Although quite small, the place was very charming and had great food. The staff was very friendly and it looks like it’s family run, due to the small size. It’s self-service and even though there aren’t many options, all of the food we had tasted great! They have a little shop too that Has many vegan products, like vegan condensed milk and whipped cream! Overall, loved it!
